Quest East Melbourne

Im giving 5 stars. If your someone who is used to staying at fancy hotels, you might find this place to be little bit outdated but for me it was perfect. My online booking went smoothly, and only cost $160 for the night!! That is a bargain for a Melbourne hotel. I stayed in a little studio style room that accommodated me perfectly. Even had a little balcony. Bed was comfy, there was no noise so i slept peacefully. Reception staff were really friendly and even allowed me to check in early. I was within walking distance to John Cain arena where i went to a concert. Will definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Never judge a book by its cover - from the outside it doesn’t look much but as soon as you walk in you recognise the renovations and fantastic facilities. Karla in reception was extremely welcoming and helpful with great recommendations for walking to the tennis to breakfast favourites to dinner tips! Will stay there again for sure.

Amazing place to stay and Karla at Reception was so friendly and efficient and very security conscious and gave lots of tips for females travelling alone. Simple things like don’t leave your room keys next to your mobile phone. Make sure your phone is charged in case you need to call us after hours.
I have travelled a lot but never felt safer or looked after by caring hotel staff like I did here with Karla and Quest East Melbourne.
And the location is perfect for Uber pickups and drop offs.
Easily most enjoyable and comfortable place I’ve stayed at and my top pick.
Will be back again definitely!

The service and staff at this hotel are excellent. My wife had to have unexpected surgery while we were in Melbourne. They accommodated me for an extra 2 nights and also gave us a late 12pm checkout at no extra cost. The room was fantastic, clean, roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. It’s an easy 30 minute walk to the city and super close to the MCG and Rod Laver Arena. I can 100% recommend the Quest for a perfect stay in Melbourne. Thank you again for the excellent hospitality Quest.

Had a great stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was at a convenient location. Lots of the complaints about parking, you really need to consider you are in Melbourne and unless you're in the suburbs you are always going to have to pay a lot of money to have park. Would reccomend

Good location with lot of nearby cafes and restaurants across the road within 0.5km. Small rooms but clean and has all the facilities in the room. Good customer service.

Stayed at this Hotel for a few night as we had booked to see a concert (Robbie Williams) at Rod Laver Arena. The room was nice, on level 1 facing the street, you could hear the trams rattling past during the night so maybe a room that doesn't front the street would be quieter?
The location is great, we walked over to Rod Laver, easy 10 - 15 minute walk. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Had a wonderful stay at Quest East Melbourne. Room was really comfortable and the hotel was in a lovely part of the city fantastic service from staff who gave us great details for the best local coffee shop and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when back in Melbourne. Location is perfect for going to anything at the MCG.

Also, added bonus, the roof top area is really nice!

I booked 3 seperate rooms for the friday night and the Quest definently delivered. Staff where great and the rooms are awesome. You cannot beat this for value for money. I will definitely be returning. Thank you again.

Excellent service from all the staff! Jo and Alex are amazing and helpful. The cleaning staff are also good, and will ask if you particularly want anything done. Car parking available for $35. Central location for MCG, and the Australian Open Rod Laver Arena is about 15-20 minute walk.

A great location within walking distance of the sporting events that are on in Melbourne. Not far to the trams or the trains either. The room is actually quite new looking whether it's been renovated or built new. I'm not sure but everything is as it should be. Got a little hot plates. It's got a microwave oven range, hood, full sink, little fridge, little ensuite bathroom, and a nice big bed. Quite nice, staff at reception were very helpful and friendly too. Hint, call first if you need hi headroom for your car. They may have a streetside pass.

Very convenient location with Bridge Rd nearby. Walking distance to Epworth Richmond and nestled in a very lovely area of East Melbourne. Rooms are excellent with 10/10 beds. The shower is the best!! Rooftop access for a drink/smoke with excellent views of the city. Excellent stay.

Very friendly lady at the reception. Rooms are very good and the location is close to the city. You also have carpark spaces at the back of the hotel.

The rooms are comfortable, and well maintained and equipped. The location is convenient to the MCG, the city and Richmond. The cooperative staff go out of their way to help.

Excellent service by all staff. The rooms are modern and well equipped, but unfortunately my iron leaked water everywhere and the TV was set with limited foxtel channels and were scaled off the edge of the very small screen. However, these issues were trivial against the quality service and modern rooms. Would stay there again.

This was a really great place to stay, especially if you're going to the MCG. The staff were lovely, especially Aisha (I think that was her name). The rooms are good sized and comfortable for a family of 4.
I will book there again next time I need to go to the city.

I stayed here for 4 weeks for work. Close to the city and public transport. Reception staff always really lovely and the rooms were always clean. Plush carpet was a nice touch! Definitely one of the better Quests I have stayed in.
