Zaks Tapas, Restaurant and Bar

Zak's Tapas is hands-down one of my most favorite restaurants in Adelaide. The main owner is caring and dedicated, and employs a proficient team of kitchen and bar staff that make a unique experience for anyone who spends time here.
When you walk into the establishment, you will see that both the inside and outside are well kept. The team also makes you feel welcomed and works their hardest to accommodate any needs you might have. My personal favorite is the outside area, as it features a large selection of greenery, comfortable seating, and lighting that makes it perfect for date night.
The menu at Zaks Tapas has a wide variety of dishes that is perfect for sharing and grazing, and is designed to appeal to everyone's preferences. A close friend and myself got four dishes to share which was the exact amount we needed for a nice lunch. We ordered the flatbread (with olive/balsamic dip), fried potatoes with salsa topping, halloumi slices (with raspberry) and their specialty peri peri chicken and rice. All the dishes were great prices and with excellent qualities in flavor and presentation. We also ordered two glasses of wine from their large selection of alcoholic beverages, which was recommended by the FOS team.
Big thank you to the whole staff team for accommodating my business meetings and casual catchups with friends. I will always be back to support this restaurant!

Great food and service! We had the chorizo and prawn, chicken skewers, patatas bravas, and sticky ribs. All dishes were excellent. Really loved the ribs though! Def leave room for dessert! Will def be back!

A beautiful little place owned by two business partners. Head Chef and Troy who takes care of front of house. Troy served us all night and he had exceptional customer service. Gentle, warm, friendly and paid attention to the little details. The food was delicious especially the dessert. Highly recommend the Eton Mess and Lemon Possent - eat it together. Really well priced. Ambience was peaceful, relaxed, with a good selection of soft music playing in the background. We will be back again.

What a lovely place! Went there today for lunch with a friend, the food was delicious and beautifully presented and the service was outstanding! We were made to feel very welcome and were well looked after. Would highly recommend to check out this gem, and we will certainly be returning 😊

Highly recommend Zaks Tapas. A small business that was only been open for a few months. The ambience was the perfect amount for a quiet romantic night out away from the hustle and bustle of CBD Rundle St. We sat outside next to the gas heater, nice soft music playing in the background, candle lit table with fairy lights surround. Troy's customer service was exceptional from the get-go. Warm, gentle and friendly with very good customer service. The food was delicious, especially the desserts; and everything was well priced. I We will definitely be coming back.

welcoming staff who's always around to make your experience as pleasant and convenient as possible. One of the nicest places to hang around with the family, especially in the outdoor seating area. The food was simply mouth-watering and flavourful <3 You gotta try the tuna balls !

Had the most wonderful night for my husband's birthday at Zak's!! We had the flatbread, tuna cutlets, prawn and chorizo, peri peri chicken, potatoes, brownie and eaton mess. Can not fault any of it, every thing they put on the table was absolutely delicious! 😋

As they have a smaller kitchen, it seems they can only make a few different dishes at a time, so for larger parties maybe might be best to choose 3 or 4 dishes and order several of each? We absolutely did not mind in the slightest about the wait, the time in between dishes was completely reasonable and it gave us just enough time for the last dish to settle properly before digging into the next delicious course.

I can't believe how good every bit of food was! I dislike mushrooms but am in love with theirs. Great wine selection. Great for a date place. Nice and tucked away. Impeccable service!

We keep coming back for the exceptionally friendly (but not intrusive) service, delicious food and extensive wine knowledge and creative cocktails by Troy. Inside or out, Zaks is a pleasure for a light bite or main meal.

Great venue to host company functions! These people go out of the way to cater to requests!
