Streaky Bay Jetty

Great spot to stop, bathroom facilities are well maintained clean and well stocked. Jetty has lots of space for activities. Designated space for swimming has ladders and stairs into the water with a pontoon in the better section. Parking for caravans across the road and beside toilet block. Beautiful to sit and watch the water with a covered area with 4 picnic tables at the beginning of the jetty.

Beautiful little town. Go to Drift right next to the jetty. Good food and coffee.

Called in here on the way back to Adelaide after visiting the home where my mother (Nancy Stott "Gumby") grew up in the 1920's & 30's. ( Nundroo Stn)
My mum's favourite beach growing up was Streaky Bay, and her favourite meal was whiting and chips.
So in tribute to her I had exactly that at Streaky Bay 💞💓🎉

I had whiting & large chips.
The seagulls enjoyed the leftovers 🤪

The jetty area is a lovely place to to stop and enjoy the great view of the bay while having lunch or a swim.

I have travelled extensively around OZ and I think Streaky Bay is one of the nicest, cleanest and brightest little towns I have ever seen.

Very pretty town, got all your needs and more. Great pub with live entertainment n good tucker. Rugged coast line doing the loop.

Lovely, beautiful jetty. I epecially loved the well maintained lawn area near the jetty. We had picnic at there. Clear and calm water with various wildlife including dolphins. Nice little town and fabulous place to visit. Walking trail along the beach was good too.

Beautiful spot for a walk or some fishing . Bring a jacket it gets windy if fishing . 🎣

Great jetty as jetties go. Beautiful clear water to see fish. Swimming cage with stair access. Wheelchair friendly. Popular with for local fishing. Across from the Pub & shopping access.

Novel idea of memorial plaques and advertising plaques along edge of jetty. Loved the swimming pool at the side.

Worth a walk to the end, interesting plaques along the jetty. Would be very photogenic at sunrise/sunset

Just needs a fish cleaning station and some more shade to be perfect.

Didn't stay here, it is a lovely spot by the sea.
