We had a great experience on the bush and beach trail. John and Heather were superb hosts, they looked after us perfectly and were equally understanding and patient of the beginners as well as the more experienced in our group.
Riding on the beach was a very special experience and one that we won't forget in a hurry.
Would thoroughly recommend.

The 2 hour bush & beach horse riding tour my partner I participated in on the 8th of June was quite remarkable. The guides Izzy & Ash were very patient with my first ever ride on a horse as a rising 50 year old and I was quite unco but my horse “Blue” had a very kind temperament and the ride was quite unique as we traversed tracks that led to the beach and had our photos taken by the guides posing on these wonderful horses with the ocean as a background.
Yes we’ll be back for sure & I strongly recommend Horseabout Tours to anyone who’ll listen , they cater for individuals to large groups on all levels of experience.

The team is fantastic and treat their horses right. They cater for every rider’s experience level and know how to pair you up with a horse you will easily connect with. It have been such lovely two days with you and it’s been a pleasure to do it with Blue and Joe.

My girlfriend and I booked a 2hr horse ride for her birthday with horse about tours in Forster/Tuncurry and our experience was great.
The staff were great and very nice and so were the horses. The walk through the forest and then onto the beach on a sunny day was perfect.

It was the perfect way to spend a Sunday morning, meandering through bushland and then out along the sand with the horses skimming the water.
The team are very experienced and knowledgeable and I very much enjoyed the banter back and forth.

I highly recommend for anyone curious about horse riding and would like to experience it in a safe and professionally run environment. They carefully select the horse for your size and ability - so get out there and give it a go!

, Gorgeous well loved horses it was a incredible ride stunning views and it was just nice to be in the moment with nature. Everyone is experienced and knowledgeable . . 🙏 We had lunch after and a Billy tea, it was hard to leave sitting around the open fire and chatting to Craig the owner. Sun rise will be our next adventure.

Wow!!! I had an amazing day yesterday with my lovely horse Arrow and great guides (Izzy was just lovely and wonderful!). I did the Bush and beach experience. The Bush is really rustic, also a little eerie with bushfires having burnt large parts leaving blackened trees, but still beautiful in its own way.
The beach was breathtaking. We were spoilt with a pod of dolphins playing as well which we got to see.
Don't hesitate to book, for me it was nice to switch off and get back to nature for a few hours, child free! Thanks horse about for a great morning and lovely experience. People, horses and scenery were all fantastic!

Had one of my best horse riding experiences from over a dozen other experiences I’ve had. The guides were very helpful and friendly and the track through the bush and along the beach was very scenic. Highly recommend this horse riding place!

It was the best ride I had had for two years growing up with horse and the love to ride, I found both off our wranglers amazing,and very professional me my daughter and partner walked away amazed by the experience, the beach ride I highly recommend we were taken not a time limit but !
