Great little spot for overnight cheap camping. Power site $10, Gold coin donation for shower. Pick up key at the Royal Hotel which is well worth the visit. Quaint little town.

Mirrool Hotel was a great place to pop in to and we loved the cheap camp over the road

Having heard great comments about the Mirrool Hotel on the Country Pub Camping Site, we had a drive out for lunch.

The community run camp is a stones throw away from the pub. With large gravel sites & power points.

Head to the hotel and have a chat to the friendly owners Andrea and Johnathon. Grab some lunch or a drink, I can highly recommend the steak sandwich 😋

What a great place to eat at this lovely pub, very friendly staff, the food was absolutely delicious, us 4 we very happy with our meals. 3 ordered Chicken Schnitzel with vegetables and chips and gravy, 1 had Salt and Pepper Squid with a well presented salad and the best chips we have eaten in a long time.

Dropped in for a cold beer and some lunch with the grandkids. Lovely atmosphere, cold beers and the meal was delicious. Best steak sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back on our next trip.

Historic Old pub. Cold beer, great food and friendly customer service. Free camping offered across the road as well or $10 a night if you want to hook up to power.

Driving into the little town of Mirrool, I just knew I would love it. From the quirky statues on the way in to the amazing pub situated right next to the silos. The free camping here is second to none, full facilities including showers and completely safe.
The pub food was top notch and the lady behind the bar felt like a friend within minutes. The locals in the bar were so friendly and welcoming. I would 100% recommend this place as a stop over.

Just passing though we dropped in for an icy beer as we couldn't go past such a beautiful building. So damn happy we did Tracy was a great host and the beer wonderful. If I known of it's existence I would have stayed the night unfortunately we had booked and paid to stay in WW prior to leaving. Looking forward to returning and staying on our next BNE / MEL / BNE trip.
Perfect location.

Free camp out front, powered sites$10 per nights, rooms $85.

Wife and I had dinner there, we had the lamb cutlets with beautiful mash and fresh veggies and a Parmi dingo. Both were flavoursome and well cooked by Tracey.

Johann, manned the bar and the Reschs draightbeas right temperature and wet the palate.

Locals were there and other travellers who were camped over the road. Was a great atmosphere sitting at the bar and outside on the wide veranda.

We camped across the road in the well laid hard surface campsite. Only 6 vans in but room for 30 vans. We’re maybe 10 powered sites, for $10?? For power. Gold coin donations for unpowered.

Toilets clean and a great camp kitchen and grassed kids playground.

What a great example of an Australian country pub. If you are visiting remember to check when the World Silo Kick competition is on.

Pub is under new management and recently reopened.
Very friendly couple run the place along with some family.
Lunch menu is very simple but very delicious I had a steak sandwich and chips and couldn’t fault it.
They have 5 rooms available for accommodation and I can’t wait to return and stay a night.
Plenty of truck parking and worth the drive.

Hotel staff were welcoming and accommodating, food was really good. We ordered pizza palmy and rissols, they where out of rissoles so my partner got a schnitzel at no extra charge, nice. Chips were perfect, crunchy and fluffy in the middle. Salad was generous, well dressed and fresh. Chicken was a good sized portion, cooked just right, toppings on point, basically perfect. The hotel is what you'd expect in a town of this size, but does only adds character to the visit. The only thing that could be better is if we were here for the solo kick, where the locals get together for a competition where they try to kick a footy over the silos across the road. We got a stubby holder from the staff instead. But wait there's more, there's clean toilets and showers for the public open 24 hours accross the road, great for #vanlifers and RV'ers.

Very enjoyable pub camp experience. Lovely pub owners and hosts Johnno and Andrea. Warm and welcoming, great home style pub feed. Great atmosphere, completely SAFE - we were two female travellers, sleeping in swags and NEVER felt unsafe or uncomfortable! Johnno and Andrea went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Lovely staff. Very, very hospitable. Toilets and shower available for campers for gold coin donation across from the pub. Toilets and shower clean and tidy. Camp kitchen, tennis court, fire pit and playground also across from the pub at camping ground area. Highly recommend stopping in and staying if you are looking for somewhere to pull in for the night to rest and revive on your travels. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
