Hire for Baby South Melbourne

We hired a capsule from Hire for baby and they provided excellent service. Fitted the capsule for us and then came to our home to collect the capsule once our hire period was over. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be hiring from them again in the future.

Good communication, punctual, and they had what we needed. It's great that they come all the way to your home to install and uninstall car seats if necessary.

I had to hire a travel pram for our holiday up to Qld. I cannot stress how wonderful and helpful the Staff and this service was. They were prompt and kind, very patient (I have baby brain) I am thinking I will probably need the pram again for our holiday over Christmas. My normal pram would have to be checked in but the baby jogger 2 can be a carry on (we flew with Virgin who are awesome too). Anyway, thank you!

Great experience - we opted for the delivery/pick up option which made the whole transaction seamless. Very fair price for the hire + delivery option. Stroller was in good condition and perfect for our trip overseas.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you for our recent pram hire. The process was very easy, pram was in fantastic condition and the customer service with delivery and collection from our hotel was seamless.

I was left short by a hire car company not knowing the difference between a child seat and a capsule and needed a quick solution as our son was due the next day. The team at Hire for Baby responded to my enquiry immediately, quoted quickly and were out to install and walk me through the use of the capsule. Amazing service and super easy. Thanks team!

I found the whole experience extremely good. I did not know whet to rent, and the advice offered was excellent and the lady that fit the two seats that I hired was so diligent! And then dropping back to the store could not have been easier. Thanks - great service!

I had a baby car seat fitted by Ross. His knowledge and experience are exceptional. He took time to to answer my questions and explained every step of the process. I have the peace of mind knowing the car seat is installed correctly thanks to him. On 10/11/2021, Channel 7News reported that up to 50% of child restraints were not fitted correctly and is a major safety concern. I would recommend everyone to get their baby car seat professionally installed. I would also like to thank Robyn for fitting us in. The shop is a treasure trove of expecting mummy and baby products. Look for the flags along Park Street.

We rented a capsule from Kihm in Brighton and she was wonderful. Very easy to deal with and fantastic service. The capsule was perfect and made our life so much easier at a fraction of the cost of buying. Thank you, Kihm!

I hired a capsule for my first baby, which was installed by Ross. He was quick and friendly, and showed me what I needed to know.

Our son grew out of the capsule much quicker than expected, and the team were kind enough to exchange this during the hire period to an option which fit him better.

Given it's not their fault that he decided to grow so quickly, it was so kind of them to allow us to substitute for an appropriate solution for the remaining three months of the hire, which we were so appreciative of.

Ross also fit the additional solution very quickly and professionally despite a cranky baby who was not enjoying the weather.

I can't recommend them highly enough for the quality service, even ignoring them going above and beyond, the initial service was wonderful, the additional support just put it into the next level!

I’ve just come back home from the South Melbourne branch’s getting 2 of my car seats fitted. It’s 37 degrees Celsius today and the technician was so helpful and patient despite my toddler being whinny for cutting his nap short and the temperature and he even helped me carry the younger son who is 6 months old in the capsule.
I just want to say this person (so sorry forgot his name I think it was Ross?) went beyond to help and provide excellent customers service.
I definitely recommend using their service especially if all their employee is like this guy.

Called up the same day as I had forgotten the pram flying into Melbourne. They were so easy to deal with and lovely to speak to. The pram was ready to go when I arrived (which ended up being a life saver for our trip!) and we had the pram picked up from the hotel.
Next time I will ditch the pram on purpose and just hire one!

This establishment offers 100% quality service. From pick up to drop off they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to assist us and cater for our unusual needs. Outstanding service. Ross fitted a newborn car seat into two cars for me, in the pouring rain no less! Also showed me exactly how to work the seat, and fitted it onto and off my pram base as well. Very friendly and wonderful service from Robyn and Ross. Highly recommended.

I’ve used HFB for both babies. The breast pump was in excellent clean condition. They’re always professional and willing to help. Ross goes out of his way to help arrange equipment and delivery - that sort of help is a life saver in the first days after having a baby! I had a pump at my home within hours. Thanks Ross!
