Beautiful winding rocky stream surrounded by pine trees, this is a nice little free camp. A little bit noisy with trucks going across the bridge but other than that it's great! No toilets

Great camping, and river location. 4WD in to a great spot. Free camping. Close to Sydney and Bathurst.

Very good spot for a few days camping right beside the river.
Just a short walk to the village.
Just look out for traffic when crossing the bridge.
The public toilet is in the village.

Good telstra reception, Turon river bordering the campsite. There's a bin. No toilet, so bring a shovel

Gold Was found during Gold rush days fr 1850 in NSW and this area really got hammered by thousands trying their luck .Most failed and left broken hearted but many also became very wealthy from the Gold , Smarter Chinese got wealthy from selling goods
