Green point campsite

Wonderful spot. Drop toilets, no toilet paper. I stayed 4 weeks. No luck finding gold, but you never know.

Nice river side camping. Quick 15min drive into Sofala friendly locals

Great spots to camp either alongside the river or off the camp road. Long drop toilet was clean and dirt road access for our van was good.

Beautiful place to get away from it all and cool down by the river. Is shallow in parts so need to travel along the tracks to find the perfect spot. Drop toilet and picnic table is available.

Great spot for a couple of nights if you are fairly self sufficient. Not much grass, most sites are on compacted pebbles. Good bird life, ducks came right up to our campsite a few times. We will be back again soon.

First time visitors should stick to the access roads closest to where Upper Turon Road crosses the river (near where the toilet is located). The other roads shown on Google Maps are likely too steep and rutted for most people's comfort and certainly not suitable for towing.

The tracks on the site are poor in some spots. If towing or conditions are muddy, it might be worth walking first as there are alternatives to pretty much all of the bad sections.

Stayed here for the night was beautiful. Got a spot just off the road right by the creek, amazing for kids to have a paddle in, great privacy and own fire pit.
Stars are unreal to see.
Would have given 5 stars but the toilets were horrendous!!! My advice bring your own bucket or dig a hole.
Apart from that beautiful and peaceful will be going again for longer next time.

Beautiful spot to visit, stunning scenery, just starting to get a little to well known, everywhere you look in the campground you will find somebody is already there in the busier times.

A little disappointing as it has nt been maintained as well as I remember from a visit a few years ago. However the recent bad weather may have contributed to the lack of maintenance.

Overgrown grounds and narrow road. Glad there wasn't a car coming the other direction. Plenty of rubbish bins.
