Very friendly staff, mega tasty and juicy burger along with the perfectly made BLT on toasted Turkish bread, all prepared quite quickly and quite near to their closing time.
Great indoor and outdoor seating options too, very comfortable.

Great standard in such of an out of the way town. I had the Salt-N-pepper calamari Salad and my husband the veggie wrap. The coffee is the Merlo brand and made to the correct standard. The outdoor dining area is really well put together. They were also very attentive to the checking in process. This is important important. Very friendly and respectful service.

coffee here is awesome. vegetarian breakfast was huge. they were very carefully to get the whole gluten free right.
if you don't eat something on the menu , they give you something else, not just remove it from your plate .
prices are normal.
I will come here again

I went into this conveniently placed cafe (right before you hit the shops!) because I didn't want to settle for the usual gut-filler that leaves you feeling fat and bloated.
Everything on the menu sounded awesome and delicious, but I settled for the "rosti" stack because it had everything I loved on it... Egg, baby spinach, hollandaise, crispy potato and (salmon or) bacon!
I was terribly disappointed I didn't order the prawn linguine, so much so, I ordered it to take away for my dinner because I know I love anything with creamy sauce and white wine - it's always bloody awesome.
So I ate my lunch; the rosti stack, every last bite, and suddenly my lunch companion said the pasta might go off on the car ride back to casino... So I'm still not sure if she was looking out for me or she was just eyeing off the huge prawns in the takeaway container. But we opened up the lid and the smell came wafting out and we couldn't resist.
Mind you, she ate most of the prawns and I scoffed down my pasta, covered in the cream and white wine sauce, even better than I imagined!
So, at the end of this dining experience, I was extremely satisfied, but horrified that I'd eaten two meals! First time ever I'd did that!
I returned and ordered the same thing with another dining companion a week ago. She enjoyed the pasta linguine - her own choice. I enjoyed the rosti stack again - who goes past a favourite? And I also enjoyed the pasta linguine that made it home this time for my dinner. 🥰

The staff at this Cafe were great with my dietary needs of coeliac. They went out of their way to understand how to minimise cross contamination and checked in on me as I enjoyed my meal. The atmosphere is lovely with a beautiful al fresco seating area amongst plants and greenery. 5 stars for service, friendliness, atmosphere, food quality and variety. Definitely worth stopping in.

Sugarbowl cafe is exceptional. The cup was warmed for the pot of tea. The bacon and eggs were cooked exactly as I asked. Staff in kitchen and front are obviously very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here and could set off on our trip very happy.

I stopped in for a late lunch during a long day of driving and I'm so glad I did. I had a hamburger and it was the best hamburger I've had in a long time, absolutely bursting with flavour and juiciness. The service was excellent too. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

We took our daughter and her two kids to Kyogle for lunch. We just caught the end of the market, played with the pigs, bought some fruit. Then lunch at Sugarbowl. Free milkshakes with jumbo coffee were a hit. Two burgers, side of chips, Caesar salad, and two salt and pepper calamari and there were smiles all around. Never had a bad Neal here. Service was astoundingly fast. Great place for lunch, we came from Mummulgum for a wonderful day out in the countryside.

Had the snapper burger and loved it. Got a side of fries but couldn’t eat them as the burger was so good. Service was quick and staff friendly and helpful. Great little stop on our way through town.

WOW what a fantastic surprise this venue is. We went for a ride from Brisbane and stopped to have brunch last Saturday 1st July 2017. The service was prompt the coffee was great but the food was exceptional I ordered the home made potato rosti with smoked salmon a poached egg and hollandaise sauce it was presented to me by the lady chef and we had a chat about bikes etc. I tasted my food and thought I was having a dream. It was that good people. If you ever go to or through Kyogle make sure you call in for a fantastic gastronomic experience.
