Golden Inn Chinese Restaurant

Us tired ISO fishos has been visiting them on every tuna and drummer trip up to Port Macquarie. They have delicious food, friendly boss, enthusiastic waiter, and professional chef. We ordered Mongolian Lamb, Honey Chicken, Curry King Prawns and Braised pork in black beans. They were simply amazing Im sure everyone will have a splendid experience visiting them

Excellent Chinese Restaurant in Laurieton.
Dined-in, service nice, was busy on this Sunday evening, food very good. Chicken Chow Mein very clean & tasty. BBQ Pork Omelette also very nice & generous size. Some lovely artwork on the walls, though lighting could include some darker more appealing atmospheric areas.
Overall very good; a lot to like about the establishment.
Will look to return & try other dishes when in the area 🙂🤤

Absolutely loved everything that this Chinese restaurant had to offer! Only 30 minutes from Port Mac and well worth the drive. The portion sizes are generous and more importantly the authentic flavours of each dish brought back memories of when I conducted business in China. Great service and a special mention to Annie or Anna ( forgot her name) who was the girl at the front of house who was extremely friendly to my family and I. Definitely will be back! Cheers guys!

Just relocated to Lake Cathie & stumbled upon this restaurant 😳wowsers!!! What a find…. Everything seems to be all handmade & sensational.. all our dishes were fresh, ample & tasted like it should & for the ultimate point scorer it was reasonably priced… whilst we were waiting for our meals the phone didn’t stop ringing, & door was like it was revolving …to top it off there were plenty of bottoms on seats & this was a lunch service… last but not least were the wait staff who were super kind & friendly which goes a long way to the overall score.
Keep on delivering it this way Golden Inn & you’ll be forever successful.

Food was very delicious, prices were affordable, and above all the service was both friendly and helpful with recommendations. A rare gem and easily one of, if not the best Chinese restaurants in the area. Will definitely be coming back!

Best Chinese food in town!! BEST SBC- Sang Choy Bao ever.
What a find. We came to Port Macquarie as a road trip and read Golden Inn is the place to go. The Sang Choy Bao, srly is a winner. That fresh lettuce crunch and nicely marinated meat filling. Loved the vegetarian fried rice too! Sweet and sour pork had a nice crunch to it and the vegetable stir-fry dish is also delish. Great service and fair prices. Oh I forgot was it lamb we ordered a steaming black plate? Yummm!!

Found this little gem with a traditional Chinese restaurant vibe and lovely wait staff. Food was reasonably priced and reminded me of exactly how Chinese restaurant food should tasted growing up. I got the basic Mongolian lamb and satay chicken which was delicious and the meat was soft. Had the spring rolls and ham & chicken roll as an entree which was great too! A nice spin with some seafood spring rolls and the ham and chicken roll wasn’t to salty like a lot of places I’ve been and you can taste the flavour of the ingredients rather than just salt. Would highly recommend if you are in the mood for good old Chinese food that you’ve had growing up!

I would have to say that it's the best chines food I have had for over 5 years the service I'm wonderful the staff are so friendly and every thing its done in a timely fashion you never have to wait long ..

Popped in here whilst away on holiday and are very happy we did! The food was incredible and service was brilliant, the staff were just lovely. The kids are motivating to go back tomorrow 😂🙈

Awesome find in Laurieton and excellent staff who are lovely and accommodating.
We had the best homemade prawn cutlets delicious. Also the San Choy Bow was devine and large servings. Mongolian lamd was tasty and generous as was the satay lamb. I wasn't a huge fan of the Cantonese steak but the rest of the food and service made up for this. The honey Chicken was a standout too!
Great price overall $130 for 5 of us with steamed rice dim sim and drinks.
Try those prawn cutlets and San Choy Bow!!!

I made a take away of honey Chicken, small special fried rice and combination wweet and sour sauce. It seems like this place is the best

Found this Chinese restaurant when looking for Asian food. Staff is very friendly. We ordered sweet and sour pork and Sichuan style prawn. Both are quite delicious. Price makes sense.

What a hidden gem! Very nice Chinese restaurant. Ordered takeaway, the food was delicious and portions were generous. Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurant I've tried!

There were 12 of us (neighbours out for dinner Friday night) and this was my husband and mine first time to this Restaurant. We all order individually foods and shared. Absolutely delicious and the staff were ever so efficient and quick with orders . Loved all the exotic flavours. Loved the Entrees, Spring rolls, haven't tasted a freshly made spring roll since I was a kid.
