THE KOORALBYN VALLEY

It’s the 4th time my family and my friends spend long weekend there. Stunning views, the owner is putting lots of hard work to improve the resort. Perfect conditions for family vacation: 3 pools, spa, board game rooms, table tennis room, mini golf - all for kids! Parents can enjoy golf all day. Delicious breakfast and lovely friendly staff especially Tania from the restaurant. We love going there and will definitely be back!

Beautiful resort, stayed with my family including kids who spent most of the time in the pool, playing mini golf and winning on the claw machines. Tanya, holly and Rhiannon in the restaurant are angels, and the food was amazing especially the buffet breakfast. Most relaxing getaway I’ve had with my kids can’t wait to come back.

Nice picturesque place to just chill, play some golf on a challenging course with kangaroos all around it. Kids love the pool area and the tavern down the road for tasty dinners & drinks is good spot to unwind after a day of golfing. We go with a bunch of families and we all enjoy this place!

Excellent holiday destination for family and groups of friends. The staff are brilliant, kind and thoughtful. Great facilities, plenty for all to do, swimming pools, driving range, table tennis, games room, walks through their huge beautiful grounds, garden pools with fish turtles and of course an excellent golf course. Such a great place to get away and have a little fun!!

We were given 2 nights at Kooralbyn Resort as a birthday gift. Had not been there for some years so was interested to see any changes.
We went as golfers and used both the driving range and the course. Great range with token dispense of balls at reasonable cost. Only issue was that the mats did not have the usual rubber tees for use with the driver-you could tee up in front of mats.
The golf course is a great test of golf and very picturesque. Only issues were easy to get lost so better signage needed and post distance markers would help. Some very interesting holes and occasional sighting of wildlife-beautiful setting.
Breakfast was at Lilies and good value.
During the week dinner meals only available at the Pavilion Tavern-5 minute walk or shuttle-great meals at reasonable price-outstanding Pizza.
The resort would be good for family holidays with a range of activities available including beautiful pool area.
I think the marketing of the place could be improved as numbers early week seemed low but probably greater at weekends. Maybe packages could be developed to suit particular market segments and better promotion.
It is a wonderful facility with some ongoing refurbishment occurring.
We will be back!

Visited for the GoLoPro golf day and had a great time being coached by Allan Cooper, who has won over 100 tournaments. It was a real honour to get tuition from a man of his calibre and expertise on the game of golf. I had a wonderful experience throughout the day and was treated with respect and learnt some changes in my swing that once practiced will definitely enable me to play the game of golf better, also learned about the psychology of golf and many other aspects of the game that made you think about the game of golf differently and the lessons learnt were exceptional, thank you to everyone for making the day one I’ll never forget.

We had a group of 20 of all ages who came to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. It was difficult to find somewhere suitable and affordable on the Gold Coast for the large group but this place was perfect for us and we were so happy to find it. We had a wonderful time! The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was great value for money and the Lillie’s breakfast buffet was fabulous. Dinner at the Pavillion tavern was also great and the kids had a ball playing outside with lawn bowls and pool table and mini golf. Definitely recommend it for large family group.

Value for money is best against any package anywhere! if you’re complaining you don’t know what anything is worth go stay on the goldcoast for your 2k week. It’s quiet, greens are nice and food is awesome!
Go stay for a boys weekend!

My boy's and i stayed at Christmas time for a week, we had the best holiday. The room was lovely, clean and had the best spa bath you could imagine. We enjoyed a buffet breakfast each morning and the staff were amazing, going above and beyond for customers. Their bubbly personalities and friendliness made such a great start to the day. The receptionist was amazing too, so warm and welcoming. My boy's were constantly in the reception area buying ice-creams or relaxing on the sofas. The pool's were fantastic, and my boy's enjoyed playing 8 ball, at the Resort and the hotel. Although we didn't play golf, my boy's enjoyed having a hit on the driving range and even better than that was driving the golf buggy around the 14km course. I can't recommend this Resort enough, we will definitely be back. Thankyou so much for a brilliant stay!

The accomdation was clean and fresh, bed comfortable, and bathroom with spa was lovely, even if the style is older, it still felt luxurious with some nice touches. We had great views over the golf course from our balcony.
Dinner on Christmas night was a traditional smorgasbord and the tables looked beautiful with all the festive decorations. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive both at dinner and breakfast and the food was great, not too fancy but a great selection and beautifully cooked, so it was suitable for our family of fussy eaters! Thanks especially to Tanya and Janine and chef Wayne!
We'd like to come back again and try more of the activities next time. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We came to play golf and stay a night.
Our seniors group from another golf club had a great time.
The staff especially Janette (I may have got her name wrong- she worked on Monday night and Tuesday breakfast and lunch 13 and 14 March.
She was excellent in all areas of looking after a group of 29.
The golf was great. The food was excellent and the cost was very reasonable.

Had the best time ever here! First time ever staying here and all the locals are absolutely lovely…the staff at the resort, even better🥰 reception were lovely and super welcoming. Clean rooms, with a massive bath! Comfy beds😍 It was even better to arrive after 6pm to a delicious dinner buffet at Lilies and I have to say, the staff there are AMAZING !!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO JANINE & TANYA (sorry if I have the spelling wrong) but one of the waitresses and I think the manager working at lilies the nights/morning we went, you ladies are LEGENDS!!! So so soo kind and funny, they made our stay a stay to remember ❤❤ we were only meant to stay one night but after one night we had to stay again. We didn’t want to leave. We had a beautiful buffet breakfast and buffet dinner both nights and mornings and even tried out the pub up the road, yes delicious and great staff, but we loved Lilies more. ❤ we will most definitely be back and I hope they have the same staff at the resort and restaurant when we come back. We love you guys!! Thank you for making our stay something to remember.

I was recommended by my friend. We had the 3 for 2 special deal, good saving. The resort was much bigger than we though, from the photos as well. Little things like only $10 for an extra bed and exciting family bicycle ride are just the beginning for a good stay. We did not feel like trying the golf, but it was already very nice just walking in the morning along the course. Thai beef salad was just the greatest idea for lunch and the portion was even big enough to be a main. Surprisingly, Mahjong was found in the game room with proper table to play and it was such a good memory for my husband and myself for the old times back home. I managed to spend only $3 and taught my son how to play pool in the game room with more than an hour spent. Walking along the golf course was also not a bad idea for after dinner and the view was stunning. Told my friends for the above and felt like I should have tried the golf course, by learning from zero, maybe when my son grows bigger.

We booked a 2 day Stay & Play package. The resort is very grand and luxurious, but some areas (eg. the building exterior) needs money spent on it. Our room was well set up with good amenities, toiletries and everything you need. There were two comfortable queen beds and a choice of pillows. It was immaculate and very clean and a daily service was carried out. The housekeeping team is doing an excellent job. A maintenance issue was reported and attended to immediately. Lillies Restaurant for breakfast both days & one dinner was excellent. There's a great buffet set up there. The food at Lillies was of a high quality, creative with excellent presentation. Staff were very attentive, especially Janine and the Restaurant manager. We also had one dinner at The Pavillion which offered a basic pub menu. Our food experience at The Pavillion was average but we don't like deep fried food. We found the golf course very challenging and enjoyed it. It was in reasonable repair and presentation. However, some of the fairways didn't have much grass on them, but the greens were good. The timber stairs and railings need maintenance and directional signage needs to be improved to find the next tee. We would go back again and would recommend it.

I was invited for a small birthday party for my daughter’s classmate. Had a chance to have a look at the rooms at the resort and enjoyed a good time with the kids by the pool. They booked us a buggy tour along the golf course, very exciting for the kids. No need to mention, lovely lunch at the main restaurant there. All is highly recommended…

Thanks for a great getaway. From Deb at reception to Jeremy and Alan in the pro shop the hospitality was great. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Definately recommend a the 200m walk to the pub for a meal and cold beer to lie about how well you played golf. The spa after spa and pool after the round was refreshing. The course lived up to the reputation I had heard about for years. It's a 30 year old resort with super competitive prices. Stayed in worse on the coast for alot more. See you again soon.

One of the best holiday we have had. Lots of things to do and staff are all friendly, helpful with a smile. We stayed room no.122 it has an amazing pool view. I so loved the view. We are not golfers but still had great experience. Yes, the room is aged, drawers were broken, couldn't open them. The toilet is leaking water a bit. It could be fixed easily they need some good maintenance jobs here and there. But when I think the price and staff's behaviour, etc and make an overall, it's acceptable for me. One bad thing is only 1 restaurant for dinner but I didn't much enjoyed it there. Lili's was awesome(opens only breakfast). I hope there was some other option to go for dinner.

I had an amazing time going with my family. We got to see so many wild kangaroos and it was nice being able to get away from the city and relax at such a beautiful resort. Breakfast was also amazing and the staff are so friendly! I can't wait to go back again.
