The Globe Inn

Beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Yass. Our room was huge, as was the delicious breakfast! The hosts, Julia and Charlie, were so warm and friendly. Perfect weekend. Would definitely return and recommend.

We recently stayed in the 'Garden Room' and we knew we were going to stay in a room full of charm, character and historic value (a real 1800's feel about it with the original stone floors & shingles) and it certainly did not disappoint.
Our lovely hosts had our fireplace lit before we arrived (it was such a lovely gesture and so appreciated). The bed was very comfortable and we were cosy and warm enough that we didn't even need to use the electric blankets. Waking up to a scrumptious breakfast and friendly service topped our night off beautifully. Thank you - we will be back!

My stay was absolutely perfect, couldn’t fault a thing. Julia and Charlie were so accommodating and lovely. Room was huge. Julia’s breakfast was 10/10. Would highly recommend to anyone going to Yass to stay here.

I stayed here twice for work. The owners (and dog) exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful early 1800's coach house complete with ball room, they have renovated per that era. The colours are gorgeous. Atmospheric and in winter delightful sitting by the fire in the lounge room. Close to the centre of town, and easy walking distance to see any of historic Yass, including the courthouse opposite. A must visit and stay place. Oh and the breakfasts were delish.....

We're hard to please Sydney folk, and The Globe Inn surpassed all expectations. The room was quaint and cosy, with a lush bed and a fireplace - the chocolates on the pillow were the finishing touch! Julie's breakfast was sensational. Loved our stay so much and would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Julie.

If you’re passing through Yass, The Globe is an old hotel full of character. Sensitively restored with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners are charming and the breakfast was delicious! Rooms are spacious but cosy. can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.

Such a friendly inviting place to stay with tons of character and located close to lots of dinner options. The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms very nicely presented and the breakfast was a real treat. The only place to stay in Yass!

Julie was an exceptional host, catered to all our needs and the breakfast was simply divine. The rooms were very well appointed with thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend staying at The Globe Inn.

Overnight stay. Only one down side, the bathroom and also the breakfast room hard to heat and we visited in a very cold autumn night. The welcome and the location made up for the downside.

A most enjoyable stay for my wife and I. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts Greg and David. The 1847 building was a delight, transforming us back to a unique period in Australias history. The B+B was tastefully decorated and the Breakfast was a pleasure. Highly recommend this boutique accomodation to all.

Delightfully charming hosts, beautifully appointed spaces, a luxurious and comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. The perfect place to stay as part of a romantic getaway and located close to the region’s wineries and foodie stops.

We had a lovely two night stay in the garden room. The fireplace and spa bath made for the perfect romantic winter escape. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts are friendly and helpful.

An absolutely lovely place. The room was charming, the food was excellent, the garden was beautiful, and the inn itself was well-kept and quaint. Charlie really took care of us; I would absolutely go back.

We stayed in the garden room which has it own fire place and spa bath. It was a lovely and romantic place and the hosts were friendly. Breakfast was amazing- better than most cafes and restaurants.

This unique, gorgeous 'Grand Dame of B&B's manages to be historically authentic and atmospheric while enhanced by thoughtful, modern artistic stylings. This is all made even more wonderful by the owner/operators whose service is superb! Will definitely return.

We could not have been made more welcome ,the welcome and surroundings were equally charming and we keep making plans to bring a couple of friends to enjoy a day away in Yass .
In difficult times it’s on our definite “to do again “list as soon as we can -can’t wait !

I enjoyed my stay here in the Mediterranean Garden Spa Suite. I enjoyed a lovely breakfast the following morning prior to my departure and the hosts David and Greg are lovely.

What a great building and fantastic friendly service. So much history here and very well renovated. Comfortable bed and all rooms with an ensuite. The best B&B in the area by far.

We had a very special night in The Garden room complete with the sound of rain on the roof and a great fire. Excellent service and breakfast was delightful.
