Djidi-Djidi Ridge

Such a good walking trail for wildflowers! From the parking lot you can start from multiple paths, and it's all signposted with maps along the way too. We were lucky enough to spot the rare blue sun orchid that looks like a penguin :)
Warning: The Djidi-Djidi track is quite narrow with lots of spikey bushes overhanging most of the way, so wear long pants if you don't want to get spiked.
The other tracks are fairly wide though!

Super clean 2x long drop toilets are available :)

Awesome wildflower display & spot for picnic lunch. Tables in parking area & clean drop loo's. Short trail walk to lookout, a few tricky spots on walk trail, if you're unsteady on your feet take your time and you should be ok. Doggo's also loved this walk.

Short walk, great for families, amazing wildflowers. Went in Sept 2021, hopefully will still be the same amount of flowers. (Has parking, picnic tables and toilets at start of trail)

Peaceful walk with views of surrounding hills. Lots of flora and information markers along the trail. Quite steep in some spots which is ok but the loose gravel is tricky.

Nice little bushwalk with a number of routes to explore through the bushland. Some nice views of the surrounding bush and farm land.

Beautiful little trail. Amazing view traversing up to the lookout. Well signed and easy to navigate . Only a 1.4km track. Have fun and enjoy

Lots of options for walks for differing skill levels. All the options, their distance and those with steep inclines are all on the sign in the carpark. The trails themselves are clearly marked and there are some very nice views. The trail has signs that tell you about the local flowers too! If you like nature, definitely worth checking out.

Tip for getting there though, there's two entrances to the parking area one on the Toodyay side with a large nice sign and one on the Bindoon side with a regular street sign. If you're coming from Bindoon, drive past the first street sign and go in the one on the Toodyay side. It's a shorter dirt track.

A great short trek but is some uncertainty about which path to take at one point. We chose right instead of left which extended the walk quite a bit as we headed back to go left. Good for wildlife and caught a first glimpse of what we thought was an echidna crossing our path.
