Morchella Cafe

Comfy, homely café that offers big breakfasts filled with love... and they have bacon!

Coming over from Melbourne on a family matter, we just wanted a nice breakky place to give a semblance of normality. In Hyde Park, every other café on this strip only offers snacks and coffee, not a sit down full café experience.

The coffee here is amazing. Strong, with a divine bitter chocolate aftertaste. Decor is cool and trendy without being stuck-up. Toilet is beautiful inside and spacious for accessibility. Customer service is bang-on. Food is interesting, colourful, flavourful and upmarket. The prices are totally reasonable too.

We are so thankful for this lovely spot-- you were the shining light in our otherwise sad visit.

The chicken mushroom pasta is so delicious. The portion of dishes is good too. Definitely a good restaurant. Highly recommend. The staffs are helpful and kind. Service is great.

Morchella is a rising star along the busy King William cafe scene. Smooth, rich coffee and wonderous iced drinks which look and taste amazing. The brunch/lunch menu is inventive and everything we have tried has been delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. Morchellas is the best value by far in Hyde Park. Wish they would stay open longer 🙃

Great vibe in the cafe and the staff are lovely. The food was good portion sizes and full of flavour.

Had the eggs on toast and a flat white and frankly, they were perfect. Love this little cafe. Not pretentious at all, well priced and intimate. And the wait staff have personality. Parking might be an issue but duck down the side street opposite. It's worth it.

Absolutely loved my breakfast at Morchella! Wonderful, friendly staff, even better coffee and delicious food. Had the eggs benedict with bacon with an added hashbrown, staff were more than happy to accommodate and I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Will be back again soon!

GREAT food and coffee. Breakfasts are just right, not too much,not too mean, and we liked the staff offering one or more pancakes for our granddaughter, instead of just bringing out a huge plate of food for her. Can be daunting for a little one. Lovely place.

Been here a few times now and had great service and yummo food each time. The eggs benny with basil pesto is a winner winner for me. modern funky decor, friendly staff & great coffee. returning soon!!

Only had a coffee there, which was good. The staff were lovely and attentive. Nice to see them busy and doing well after only being open a few weeks.
