We highly recommend Genesis Furniture Removals - every aspect of their service was exceptional and professional from the first phone call. Allan was so helpful and accommodating when there was a delay in unloading our belongings at the new house. Ben, Jesse, Todd and Adam were great guys - friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

The guys at Genesis are fantastic. They were very patient and flexible while we were dealing with a difficult settlement situation that was 200km+ away. The guys who loaded/unloaded the move were amazing, really nice guys. They worked just as hard 13 hours later unloading as when they arrived to load the truck.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Genesis removals.

Spent over two days being driven from Adelaide, all around the Barossa and back. Totally enjoyed the experience and the coach driver was excellent. Really, for the cost, could not have been better.

Was not excited about riding the bus to Port Augusta, but the seats were comfy and was an easy trip for sure.

Unfortunately, you can't rely on advance bookings made for the weekly Fleurieu to Flinders bus service. I booked a week in advance from Wilmington to Laura, but had to change my contact number the day before which Genesis Transport confirmed receipt. Then upon arrival at Wilmington, the driver advised the bus was full because he had given the seat to someone else who had booked that morning. I was left stranded at Wilmington and with no other bus services for a week, had to pay $188 for a taxi to come from Port Augusta to take me back to Laura.

I am writing this review on behalf of my 82 year old parents who recently moved from Victor Harbor into a retirement village.They paid Genesis Removals to not only move them but to also pack for them.They had over 50 boxes. Genesis did not label one single box, even when my parents gave them a marking pen. Hence it was extremely difficult for them to actually find anything. The boxes were just stacked up and my parents had no idea where to find anything that they needed at the time. Their clothing wasn’t packed into hanging boxes, it was just crushed into boxes. Genesis were just going to pack the clothes into bags instead of boxes. Genesis also ‘forgot’ to pack the large linen cupboard. My parents also arranged for some of their unwanted furniture to be dropped into a charity shop by Genesis. The furniture did not turn up at the charity shop. Genesis told the charity shop that my parents had changed their mind and someone from Genesis decided to keep it. My father complained to Genesis, but the person told him that ‘when you pay the bill, we’ll drop in the furniture’. My parents refused to pay until the job was completed. Genesis also damaged a newly painted wall in my parents’ new house. Genesis never got back to my parents about it. The service, or lack of service by Genesis that my 82 year old parents received, was atrocious. They would definitely not recommend Genesis Removals to anyone! Shame on you Genesis for treating my 82 year old parents the way that you did!
