Donna and Herb are wonderful park managers. The park is quiet and relaxing great views of the lake and plenty of space around to sit and admire the surroundings. Looking forward to my next stay. Cheers

We stayed a week at Lake Dyer. We initially chose it because of it's proximity to our son's home at Forest Hill, and because of his high recommendation.
I'd like to make special mention of Donna, the park's Manager. She was so friendly and helpful during our stay, making us feel welcome and ensuring our every need was met. We would definitely stay again without hesitation.
*Great location, gorgeous views across the lake.
*Clean accessible amenities.
*Family friendly.
*Spacious Caravan parking area.
Many thanks for everything Donna & Herb. We'll be back.

Great place to stay. Clean amenities. Flat sites with slabs available. Boating and fishing activities available. Beautiful wildlife. Only 1 hour away from Brisbane. As of August 2022, roughly $32 per night, which includes power and water.

Fantastic! That is the 1 word to sum up our trip. This was a last minute stay on recommendation during school holidays for me and my 3 kids (4, 6 and 8). Weather was what it was, rained first 3 days, sunny for last 2 but that's camping 🏕😁 big shout out to Donna, the caretaker, who was exceptionally helpful and accomodating. The campsite was clean and well cared for. All sites had close access to electric BBQs, toilet, showers (these are awesome!), playground, Lake and campfires (tip, if it's too windy for you, grab a gazebo and some shade sails, where there's a will there's a way 😉). Handy that Laidley is within walking distance and has some fantastic oldtown pubs plus a great lookout to view the valley in all it's greatness. We will be revisiting for sure.

Go here often. There is a nice walking/bike track around the lake. There are also, bbq areas, a park, toilets, showers and bins. Additionally, there is still water in the lake as at Nov 20. Lake managers are awesome, and ready to help if needed. Would recommend as a camping ground too, as the area is maintained well. It closes around 5pm, so make sure you go early.

Hidden Gem !
Sitting in one of the shelters here . Feeling a cool breeze . Watching a two separate kayakers whom looks to be fishing on the lake 2 to 300 meyres apart . Only 2 people fishing from the shore . Only 6 caravans here , with with of course space for dozens more . Never seen it have more than this number . Deserves more custom . Well kept and neat . Over looking charming little lake for dam . Lake = 500m wide .
Great clean amenities . Toilets and campers showers / laundry . 5 minute drive to Laidley which has supermarkets and pubs ....etc .
Some kids playing . Only occasionally heard . Interspered by bird sounds . Quite serene here , despite it being school holidays .
About 9 double tabled picnic shelters / rotundas . One large 4 table rotunda . I am the only person under a rotunda / picnic shelter at the moment . Come here for some peace folks .
All breezy and serene .

We have been coming here every Easter since 2015. Dam at many different levels, but this year 100% full.
