Great playground to visit. Well looked after, and free to enter. We packed picnic lunch and stayed 3 hours! Certainly wore the kid out!!
It's definitely not the same as what it was 30 years ago! Took 1 disgruntled person that complained after injurying themselves to have it shut down. I think we all hurt ourselves in one way or another, but it toughened us all up and we had an absolute ball doing it. Glad to see the playground is back, but disappointed it's just not the same. Grant Telfer, Engineer built the original one and maintained all at his own expense. Thank you for the wonderful memories Grant!!

They have really worked on keeping the playground you to scratch as well as trying to still stay modern and obtain the historical enjoyment the place has always been. I refer to being a child going here with my parents now. I'm taking my friends' children here. The barbecues are kept up, and the maze seems to always stay bright. And the close and open feature, I think, really helps keep this park at its best and is the reason we still get to enjoy it today.

Awesome beautiful playground, something for all ages. Had fun reminiscing about the old metal playground that used to attract hundreds back in our childhood, the BEST old fashioned fun! Carrying the sacks up the really high steps then choosing which slides to burn your b#m on!

I hope our girls remember their time here like we did & take their own kids there someday 🥰

Kids getting flung off spinning things, men climbing things they shouldn't to impress girls they want. It's a wonder insurance for places like this still exist. Fantastic. Don't drink the water from the ponds.

Great adventure playground for the kids. Adults might be a bit stung on how different it is to the old days, but for new kids it’s a blast.

There is a huge maze that is actually a bit of a challenge. My two young kids loved it. There is also a lookout on the outside of the maze to admire the challenge you just overcame.

There’s an ankle deep man made river that flows through most of the park that my kids loved having leaf races on. It does lead to a deeper pond that was pretty gross looking.

There’s also play equipment for younger kids. So there’s something for everyone.

Took the family there on a beautiful 20 degrees celcius June Saturday.

Decent number of families there so it didn't feel too abandoned or crowded. Who knows what summer peak is like.

The park appeared very clean and well maintained. Not sure who pays for the maintenance, but there is a donation box at the front entrance asking for upkeep support.

There are multiple BBQ setups to ensure more families can cook at the same time. Toilet facility is big and standard park fare.

The play equipment are varied and cater for todlers up to teens to enjoy. Equipment are clean and appear decently maintained.

There is a running artificial creek for some water play. There is a big maze for a bit of group hide and seek play.

Overall, we had a fun 80 minute there and could have spent a whole day doing picnic or birthday parties. Well worth a visit for families with kids.

Amazing park in the Riverlands. Great space for kids of all ages to play. There is an abundance of play areas.

Basket ball court, slides for all ages, flying foxes are located at the back area of the park. Information boards of the Riverland area, which I actually found it being very educational.

What I liked the most was the maze. My toddler enjoyed that the most. We had to come back the next day because it was highly requested.

This park has so much to offer. If you do find yourself in the Riverlands, do give it a go.

Glad I read post about this place, stopped by to stretch our legs. Even my 14-year old son liked it, big maze area, high swings, some challenges for older kids. Also some areas for young kids. Be careful with slider using bags, very fast down and landing on rough ground is quite hurt.

We never pass through here without letting the kids have a play.

Lots of BBQs, plenty of bins, clean toilets, well kept grass and plenty of shady spots under the huge trees.

Even plenty of fun for toddlers right up to adults.

I'm always impressed how nice it is here.

This is an incredible spot to take children under 18! They can engage in thrilling adventures on a wide variety of play equipment, and parents can do so with the utmost peace of mind that their kids are safe. Not only does this place offer adventure, but also a myriad of convenience features for families, such as free BBQs, a water fountain, and clean and accessible public bathrooms. It's the perfect getaway for families to come together and make wonderful memories – there's something for everyone here.

Ripper of a place for the kids to release all their energy. We stopped here for a couple of hours when passing back through. It’s in immaculate condition and has plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Will definitely stop here again if coming out this way.

What a glorious morning, what a beautiful day! Great to be able to do some arm and leg stretching after spending hours in a car.

The lustrous green lawn, palm trees and fresh air were terrific in recharging our tired bodies.

Some people reckoned that the park was iconic during the 70's and 80's for the locals, but for our group of adults from Melbourne, it provided us a bit of fun, to behave like kids again on the swings, and on the see-saws.

The crazy leaning towers were nothing like the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but these twin towers were very eye catching and stood up like two sore thumbs.

I love the sound of water especially from the falling water of the fountains.

An interesting feature of the park was the paddleboat, originally designed as a kiosk. I believe it had not been viable and was currently closed.

Great place to spend some time with the kids. The kiosk wasn't open, so make sure you take something to eat and drink. The playground is very well maintained with excellent grassed areas and plenty of trees.
