919 Wines

First time here, and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the fortified wines. Especially the Ruby as its flavour was very unique to me. The vintage port was easy to drink and not overbearing. The muscat was very present in taste as a good Muscat should be. My visit was entirely for fortified wines, so I haven't tried the reds and whites as yet, but if the fortified wines are any indication, I would be enticed to try them as well next time. A pleasurable experience.

This wine tasted better now than when l bought it in 2019. 5.9 Stars. Have another 2019 left in my cellar.

This was a lovely cellar door to stop off on our way through town. The winemaker was very friendly and the cellar door was in a wonderful and peaceful setting.

Wow, this is a hidden (?) Treasure! Unusual varieties for South Australia and outstanding examples of them too.
The cellar door is personal, friendly and outstanding. We've been a few and this might just be the best. It was like dropping in on a friend and getting to taste their favorites.
Dog friendly? They were just missing free tennis balls and someone to take them for a walk 😄
If you are up this way do *not* miss dropping in.

A beautiful winery with beautiful wines. The place was very accomdating for children giving them some chalk to do street art.

A real hidden gem. We had a wonderful relaxing afternoon at the cellar door. Eric and the team were very welcoming and friendly, and very knowledgeable about their craft. Most importantly the wines were exceptional with some very delicious, rarely seen varieties. We will be back.

Very friendly owners with a cute setting. Would recommend the Durif wine and their tawny is extremely nice.

A friendly and relaxing spot to spend some time tasting wines and enjoying the people and setting. I highly recommend the Ella Semmler Shiraz.

We visited the 919 cellar door over the March long weekend, the 2021 vintage was fermenting in the cellar door! Eric was so generous with his time and knowledge, he spent time showing us and telling us about the wine making process. The 919 wines are delicious, generous tastings poured for no fee and a good range of established and new varietals to suit every wine lovers' palette. Tastings all outdoors in their gorgeous garden surrounded by their vines. They also offer riverland ice cream with unique flavours for the desi drivers/kids/nondrinkers or just ice cream lovers! Cellar door has very cute exterior, and authentic interior with wine barrels stacked up. Charming spot, professional and friendly service and delicous wines!

What a beautiful winery!!! Jenny was so lovely and willing to share her extensive wine knowledge, as well as all her local tips and recommendations. And have I mentioned the incredible organic wines?! Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Riverland.

A rustic experience at a family winery. Friendly knowledgeable and helpful. The sun shone. The wines were good. The owner charming. The outlook enjoyable. We bought the Muscat and the Topaque.

So glad we dropped in for a tasting, their range of organic wines is excellent. One of the few wineries that produces a durif and their's is an excellent example. The fortifieds are also of high quality, particularly the Muscat. Owner and winemaker Jenny Semmler gave us detailed explanations of their wines which added greatly to the experience. Highly recommended!
