Tawonga Gap Lookout

Located on a bend between Mount Beauty and Bright with plenty of parking and some picnic tables, fenced lookout platform. Views across to Mt Bogong and the alpine area. Lovely vantage point of the autumn coloured trees in the townships below or across to the sun coming up over he mountain range.

Definitely worth the drive.

Great view, but Sullivan's Lookout is needed for views of the Mount Beauty township.

Top spot for a view of the valley below and mountains.

Fantastic views, good parking, can be very windy. Winding steep road take your time. Plenty of motorcyclists enjoying the roads and plenty of people on pushbikes doing it hard, make sure you give them plenty of space. The views change completely depending on the time of year, at times there are snow caps on the surrounding mountains (Mt Beauty and Mt Bogong) .
