Gove Boat Club

What a great location in an amazing part of Australia. There is a caravan park, boat moorings, restaurant and bar at thus great little outback hotspot. I recommend any persons visiting this area to dropbin and enjoy the amazing hospitality. Cheap beer at old school prices was just a bonus 👌I've also added some photos of wild buffalo 🐃 that I saw not far from the boat club.

Grilled fish and chips was great and the service was fabulous. Perfect spot for a sunset dinner.

Second night we had the blackened barramundi and it was delicious.

Outstanding quality of food given the remote location!

I ordered a 500g Rump Steak with salad, chips and gravy for $30.
The Steak was huge and flavoursome with a delicious gravy. Two side salads - tossed greens with corn, beans, tomato and onion - coleslaw with incredible flavour.
Value for money considering the size of the meal. I was able to take the unfinished portion home, with plastic containers provided free of charge.

The setting is peaceful and relaxing, overlooking the bay with boats bobbing on the ocean.
A wide variety of seating is available including bench style, tables and chairs or bar stools with a high table.
There is a very large grassed area for children to run and play. Also a beautiful huge tree to climb on.

The staff are friendly and offer good customer service.
Membership is required however you can enter as a guest with a Member.
The carpark is very large and can be a bit muddy so don't wear good shoes.
There is also an ATM on site for convenience.

I highly recommend you have a meal at this Club if you visit Nhulunbuy.

A bit hard to gain access, but once in great. A view over the bay and sunset. The bar has a wide variety of beers and wines mixed with exceptional service it's a very pleasant experience. We didn't stay for dinner, however the way customers were queuing at 1730 the food must be good.

The view of the bay will never fail us. A place to relax for dinner. Food and services is very good.
We are back for more fish this time.

Cracking spot with the best hosts, planned to stay for 7 and ended up staying for 10 days .Sarah and Hayden go well out of their way to make you feel welcome as well as keeping the place neat and tidy.
The restaurant have the best value meals in town with a great view and the staff are so friendly.

Will definitely be going back.

Food was great the venue great and the views spectacular

Camping here for a couple of nights, and can't fault it!. The meals at the club are amazing, just have to walk 50 metres through a security gate, for views of the bay, the friendliest service, and restaurant quality meals. The scotch fillet was so tender, and perfectly cooked.
If I was here longer I'd eat here every night!
Good amenities, grassed sites, plenty of room, pand just far enough from town.

A nice place to relax after work, plenty of people and decent sized meals and prices. Only issue would be the wait time to order and get your meals when it was so busy. That would not deter me from going again though as I had a great meal with a good view

Sailed into gove harbour, the boat club was very welcoming, good facilities at the camp ground next door, and excellent meals and bar service at the boat club, very good anchorage.

A five star rating for a superb place. Truly worth the visit, Great food and excellent service. Yvette is especially to be commended for her personable service and friendliness. Such a wonderful spot, the beer and wine are cold, what more could you want.

Perfect location, right on a beautiful bay. Sites close together and limited shade, though they are trying to grow more palms. Really friendly, helpful, professional mangers and staff. Great bar area and good food. Everything done right.

What an amazing place and experience. The staff are wonderful, the kitchen brilliant and the food awesome. Value for money is beyond belief and the food delicious. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Thank goodness this institution remains the same proving year after year the olde adage if it aint broke why fix it !! Still serves freezing cold beer and man sized meals.
