I have been hearing about this quilting store for over 12months now & it was all well founded. Visiting "Nuno Nuno" is more than just a store, it is an experience. Situated in a quaint shopping precinct in Mont Albert, this Japanese inspired fabric, quilting & eclectica shop is a hidden gem. The owner is well versed and passionate about her products. A section at the front has gorgeous homewares and the rest of the store is dedicated to quilting and its paraphernalia. There are some truly gorgeous sourced & imported Japanese fabrics that are the perfect match for the visiting sashiko & handicrafts teacher (inquire at the desk for classes & availability). Wheelchair access. Street parking out front & in local streets. An absolute must visit!

Absolutely beautiful range of gifts, crafts and supplies, including Liberty fabrics and Rifle Paper prints. Amazing range of cute, handcrafted gifts for the crafty person in your life; plus they have knowledgeable, friendly staff to help you. So many beautiful cards too! Could have easily spent me whole paycheck here.

I've made a drawstring bag to carry a lunch box using Japanese cotton fabric. For the lining, I used water resistant fabric and also used interfacing at the bottom of the bag hidden between the lining and the blue fabric.

What a beautiful shop for all things crafty, there is an amazing array of items for quilting, clothing, patterns and heaps more. The choice of fabrics are beautiful and Trudy herself is so lovely and helpful, it makes for a great little shop. I'll be back for sure.

New to me shop. Lots of bits and pieces to browse. Beautiful quilts and a small range of fabrics which was good as it can be expensive to ones purse haha. Lovely helpful staff

After we saw a couple items in the window (bags and a kokeshi doll) when the store was closed on Labour Day, we decided to come back today to buy them. We went to enter the store but there was a woman standing in the way inside, it turned out she was chatting with the woman who works there, standing on the other side of the door. We had to walk between them to enter and when we looked to say hello to the employee, she completely ignored us because she couldn’t take a breath from her conversation. I mean, it’d just be too rude to interrupt a private conversation to greet a customer, right?
Even after her friend left and we went over to the items we were going to buy, at no point did the woman even look at us to smile, let alone say hello.
We walked straight back out. If you can’t be bothered saying hello, we can’t be bothered spending our money.
