Castle Cove Lookout

Just a few short steps up to the lookout from the parking area, definitely worth the stop for a climb up to enjoy the breathtaking views. Bit of extra time needed if you want to take the track down to the beach otherwise just enjoy the view from this great lookout.

The views of from here are absolutely stunning and is easily one of my favourite locations to appreciate the Great Southern Ocean along the Great Ocean Road. It's also a cross over point for the Great Ocean Walk, so you can go for a short stroll to get a feel for it!

Beautiful spot to stop along the great Ocean Rd not heaps of parking ,there is a track down to beach too

Castle Cove Lookout is a worthwhile stop with stunning views. From the parking area, you can take in beautiful meadows and valleys on one side, and the ocean and beaches on the other. The lookout is conveniently close to the parking lot, making it an easily accessible and rewarding spot to visit.

On the way from the 12 apostles and had a quick stop to view the amazing sights of the ocean… ended taking pictures of my rented car with the beautiful background…😂😂

It's a wonderful lookout point along the Great Ocean Road, plenty of parking spaces and worth a 10-min stop for a photo opportunity. From here, you could look out to the ocean with its massive crashing waves and have a high view point of almost the whole of Glenaire.

We would highly recommend to stop here in your journey to The Greate Ocean Drive.

The location has plenty of car parking spots. It's in & out location excprylu are interested to walk long near beach.

Beautiful lookout and epic wildlife. Definitely recommend if you're driving past. Nice walk too.

A short drive to the look out. Great sights of the ocean. The board walks and view points are nearby.

Great spot to stop along the great ocean road do a small bush walk on the great ocean walk.

Our first stop here from Apollo Bay before heading to the 12 Apostles.

Car parks are available roadside & it is less crowdy here.

It can get pretty windy near the lookout point facing the ocean but the view is amazing.

The most peaceful and stunning place, there good amount of steps to get there but the beach is clean and when we went there was very empty so felt like a private beach.

Located just a minute walk from the road offering magnificent views. Quick stop.

Highly recommend stopping here for a short while for a beautiful view.

One of those must see nature spots that speak for themselves.
Make sure you have enough time at sunset to catch the view on all sides. The beach is in itself worth visiting but for a quick stop this is the spot.

Not as big a parking area here but this is relatively a smaller viewing point unless you are heading down to the cove. Good as a short rest point to stretch your legs before continuing the drive.

If you walk towards the end of the beach where all the rocks are then you can see a little cove at a distance. I recommend walking along the beach and going to the lookout as you can see how far you can walk!
The tides were incredibly high and it was omnious being the only two people on the beach but it was great
