This store is massive and has a huge range of wines and beers, most which I’ve never seen before. The store is welcoming and I asked one of the men working there for a recommendation of sparkling red and he was very knowledgeable and keen to help. We will definitely be coming again, regularly! Great range of wine, spirits and beer. Great assistance. They are the only shop that I have found to have some foreign beers in all of Melbourne.

Arguably one of the best selections of international and craft beers in Melbourne. There's a great variety of Belgian and German beers. I bought a bunch of German and Belgian beers that are normally very hard to find. I would definitely be going back regularly.

I suffer from procrastination when presented with too many choices. What a delightful waste of half an hour. Can't wait to drink my bounty. Thanks for the selection and friendly service.

If you never been here before I strongly recommend you set aside some time for your first visit. Also bring your cheque book, it’ll be really hard to only get a couple of beers. I couldn’t not have gotten a better bottle shop as my local.

Purvis is one of the most extensive international and local home grown craft beer shops I have ever been to . The staff friendly and service is impeccable .

Dropped in for the first time in a while, Adam was fantastic & his knowledge of wine was what I needed. Left with a great selection of Reds. Good old fashioned service with an outstanding selection of wines. A must visit!

Amazing range of beer from around the world . EVERY taste catered for.
Interesting range of ciders too rather than the boring mainstream ones on offer elsewhere.
A long wall of champagne and rosê that will take me months to sample:)🥂

One of the best ranges of craft beers I've ever seen. Also plenty of wines, both chilled and room temp to choose from. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable, and will help you find exactly what you're after.

Hands down one of the best selections of craft (& not so craft) beer in Melbourne. Some great Euro & US beer varieties & a solid range of local brews as well. Can't really say much for the wine selection but it did seem fairly good from first look.

Amazing selection of beer from all over the world. Best I've seen. The place to go if u want to sample lots of great beers not for a cheap slab of Heineken

An older styled bottle shop, or should that be beer connoisseurs wet dream (although they do sell wine as well, though I am a beer man myself).
They have an impressive range of beers ranging from the dark and mysterious to the light and effervescent.
I am a brewer myself and often come here to peruse and try, to garner inspiration for the next potential market hit.

Very pleasant and obliging wine merchants ; good pricing and range ,excellent, easily navigated website. And to cap it off through in delivery on a small order. Must say I'm impressed and will buy off them in the future.

I have very little knowledge myself & they are always willing to answer any of my questions, give me great advice & help me learn.
Being a member also gives me a discount.
There is limited parking behind the store & numerous parking spots just across the road on the opposite corner.
They're a great local & worth supporting.
