Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy at Penrose Park

In the hushed serenity of Penrose Park 🏞, I approached the Shrine ⛪⛪ of Our Lady of Mercy. Each step whispered reverence as sunlight danced through trees 🌴🌴, casting a sacred glow 🌟🌟. In her presence, a transcendent peace 🕊 🕊 enveloped me, illuminating my spirit with divine grace, leaving an indelible imprint of sacred connection.

This place of worship is located just off the Hume Highway in a picturesque location. The shrine is calming and serene. There are several 'international' shrines down the road - something I haven't come across anywhere else. Worth a visit.

Last time I visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy was in 2016 as it was a great experience.

Been meaning to return here again as I never had the chance.

All Churches and Chapels are always maintained and clean and has a picnic area for families as well.

Small beautiful Chapels of different countries dedicated to Our Lady and patron saints. Beautiful Church, attended Sunday 11am mass. Stations of the Cross leading to tomb of Jesus. A good place to visit for the faithful and everyone!

Located just an hour from Liverpool lies this Shrine of our Lady of Mercy. Has a holy scripture shop, public amenities surrounded by lush trees, the area can get breezy so dress warm to visit. Visiting all the shrines can take up to an hour. A good place to pray and to reflect on our holy mother of God and our Lord Jesus. Have mercy on us, sinners! Refreshments can be sustained at the local service centres close to the venue. Good to visit with family and friends but keep it quiet there due to prayer and meditation.

A very quiet and serene place to relax and spend your morning with friends and meeting new friends.
Highly recommended.

Nice place to stop by for Christians. If you are lucky you may see wild kangaroos hanging around as well.

Visited the Shrine on Good Friday, the Passion Play was too good !!

Beautiful place, very inspiring place to be and meditate, run by the Pauline Fathers.
Spent a full day with holy mass way of the cross and the rosary walk to the beautiful grotto. A place for quiet meditation with family and friends !

We were staying in Sydney with a relative and they were so kind to take us (my family) to this long drive. We didn’t realise the place is this far from Sydney. We were in the highway and was driving very fast. The place is very beautiful and ver big. It seemed to me a big isolated forest. There is this big church very calm and peaceful inside. Then there were other smaller buildings all around the places.

A place with a monastary experience, a great piece of nature, almost midway between Canberra and Sydney, a short throw off Hume Highway. Holy mass everyday at 11 am with confessions available, a great place for picnics as well with whole family, toilet facilities, also a great pilgrimage experience with lots of grottos and also a replica of Calvary. Every month 13th day dedicated to Our Lady of Fathima, lot of participation , ample parking, quiet ambience , nature at its best. Great priests available for all spiritual needs with great humility and compassion.

The Shrine is very beautiful and is perfect for prayer and pilgrimage especially for Marian devotions. Amazing and lovely to see all of the Catholic mini-shrines/chapels outside from all over the world. Each shrine or chapel is dedicated to Mary and you can light candles. The shrine is perfect for an annual pilgrimage during Holy Week. Overall, a blessed experience! Glory to God.

Wonderful experience every time, the Priests are highly educated giving a thorough and meaningful explanation of the Scriptures. I bring my 96 old Mother to the Sunday service, they converse with her in the most gentlest of way, always finding the time to sit and speak with her at the end of mass.

Almost annually, our family attends the Good Friday celebrations and passion play, and coupled with a few helpers most of the parking and initial processes are pretty smooth and facilitated well. The Church and the assortment of shrines are a wonder and varied, and is a great place for reflection and awe.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place a truly sanctuary managed by the gorgeous Pauline Fathers 💓 Fatima day every 13th . God bless them for their love and service
