Poor customer service.

I purchased a product at what I thought was the ticketed price only to later discover it had scanned up more expensive on my reciept. I came back to advise of this error, expecting the difference to be refunded (even though it was a small amount).

The lady who served me proceeded to look the item up online, and advised me that the item was actually online at the scanned (more expensive) price and the tag hadn't yet been changed. The staff member then abruptly said "sorry that's the correct price" and handed me back the bag of items.

There was no real apology for the mistake or offer to a) refund the difference back given it was the shops error not mine, OR b) a full refund.

The way this was communicated to me and dealt with by this staff member was simply rude and unprofessional.
