The White Hart Hotel Longwood

Really nice pub with an awesome free camp across the road. Heaps of room with many camp sites, toilets and huge open grassed area.
Pub is open Wednesday to Sunday from 3.30pm during the week and 12pm on weekends. Happy hour on Friday, from 4pm to 6pm with $4 pots of beer. Fantastic beer garden and stage area and undercover area with a TV. No pool table but lots of quiet little spots to relax. Really beautiful pub with lots of history and things to look at. Very friendly and helpful staff who were very welcoming. Well worth spending a few hours. Didn't try the food as they were inundated with 70 caravans from the TrackMaster Caravan club at the free camp, so will try the food next time.

A great country pub with plenty of atmosphere.

If you have followed my posts you will know I rarely rave about an eating establishment, but The White Hart Hotel Longwood is an exception.
We ordered the Porterhouse Steak and chicken Parma for $70
I asked for the steak to be well done, (but what you order isn’t what you always get). This was a 300g NY style cut, and was cooked perfectly for my pallet. Well done (not burnt), and a hint of blush in the thickest part of the steak.
The Chicken Parma was real chicken breast, and was not shy on the grilled cheese. Tasty and moist. I would like to come back on a Thursday for the Parma and pot special ($20) for the variety of flavours available.
Awesome personal attention given, and with modern country pub feel, we were very happy 😃 Thank you Longwood for the donation RV park and the brilliant White Hart Hotel.

Great pub , brilliant burgers on Wednesday night, great wine by the glass, pet friendly in and out of the pub, good music. Lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend this country pub- if you are traveling through in your caravan there's a great camp just down the road. Don't forget to leave a donation at the pub in the donation box on the bar 🍻. Nice to see a pub been run properly. 5 Stars from me.

Great country pub and well worth the drive for the food that was delicious ( I can highly recommend the lamb pie ).
Great atmosphere and we will be returning in the warm weather to have a beer in the out door beer garden.
Staff where extremely friendly and helpful with alterations to or order.

We made the trip across the highlands to the White Hart on a whim where we were greeted by the tunes of the Troubadour, ordered lunch which soon arrived , the best brisket burger I have ever tasted and the ribs were perfect as well. Highly recommend the White Hart hotel at Longwood.

Very friendly staff. Only stopped in for a pot, beer was cold and fire was going.

Friendly and warm pub, meals were a bit slow to arrive, but then again we were unfortunately in a hurry to get to our destination that was still 2 hours away. Food was delicious and local wines exceptional. Was well worth stopping in

Awesome decor, great service, great food. Minutes walk from free camping and very friendly.

My wife and I always enjoy lunch here but today was quite special. Good decent food that was provided in a timely manner with a great selection of local wines. The staff were excellent and engaging. Will be a more regular visitor in the future.

Renovated very well, retains old vibe, food was delicious, staff were friendly and professional, drink selection very good. Open fireplaces, clean and relaxed, enjoyed our time a lot. You can tell, eating prior to a photo, finished it all, delicious!

Very friendly staff and meals were excellent recommend sweet potato wedges and the steak was awesome well worth the trip

A gorgeous country pub

After the day trip on the Spirit of Tasmania, Longwood was a perfect distance from Melbourne to get 'on the way' for the trip to Sydney.
Anne, Sally and a few locals were so friendly. After ringing to check the dining room times, they took our order over the phone and had it ready when we arrived. Fantastic unpretentious people in a beautiful little town. Good Aussie hospitality - made better with a cold Carlton Draught a refreshing change from all the wanky craft beers.

Love that the menu changes and is fresh and tasty and a nice cold beer too

We ate here last night - Vegetarian Spring rolls to share, Seafood Linguine, Beef Stroganoff and a fantastic bottle of wine! The servings were generous, and the food absolutely delicious.
Can't wait to come back :)
