Daisy Hill Lodge

We stayed at Daisy Hill lodge as a family and would have liked to stay longer, but couldn’t because of work and school commitments.
The owners Steve and Debby are great down to earth respectful people and up hold this property so very well.
We stayed in lodge 2 and had a great time especially using the games room,suited for children and adults alike.
Everything we needed plus more was made available to us. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away in the Bonnie Doon/ Mansfield area.

Daisy Hill Lodge is beautiful. We stayed in the Boat House at the top of the property. What a find this place is. Deb and Steve are such welcoming hosts.
The Boat House is very private, sit by the lake watching the sun set, ducks, echidnas, alpacas, frogs, fish.
Walk to Bonnie Doon pub for a beer and something to eat.
We will be back soon for a glass of wine!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay in the Boathouse at Daisy Hill Lodge. Debbie and Steve were very welcoming and shared some great tips for things to see and do in the area of Bonnie Doon and surrounds. We spent our first afternoon exploring a nearby lookout that we would have missed without some local knowledge. We then shared a glorious sunset with the lodge's resident alpacas before heading to a local winery for a delicious dinner. The lodge was extremely well placed for us to spend the next two days day-tripping up to Mount Buller with gear hired on the way through Mansfield. To return to the lodge and enjoy a platter of local produce in front of the warm fire in the evening was a pleasure.

Very relaxing setting. Good quality accommodation. It was a perfect base camp away from busy locations to have serenity as well as easy access to buller, mansfield, jameison and eildon. The farmland setting, play area, hilltop bbq with awesome views, alpacas on farm and access to free range chicken eggs! You can come with a big group and just spend time relaxing in the lodge and farm!

What an amazing find! We stayed at the Boathouse for Easter and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. With a beautiful pond just in front, fireplace, outdoor bbq and a bar table/stools in the pond... There is even a little sand beach with hammocks! Lots of carefully considered details...
Daisy Hill Lodge is full of charm including a big fairy garden, views to lake Eildon, outdoor fire pits and awesome alpacas! Hosts Debby and Steve are very welcoming and made our stay great.
We will definitely come back to see those baby alpacas when they are born. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed at Daisy Hill Lodge as our first stop riding the Great Victorian Rail Trail from Mansfield. The lodge is located near the Trail and is also near to the local pub. Main feature for us was the games room and the excellent sunset view at the Lodge, which has a gazebo and fireplace at the top of a hill overlooking Lake Eildon. Great place to stay with the family.

If you’re after a little country getaway this is the perfect place to stay. We stayed at the boat house lodge which was very cosy and clean with plenty of privacy. We woke to alpacas, kangaroos and beautiful scenery. Deb and Steve were extremely welcoming and I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Debbie and Steve were amazing hosts so accommodating and welcoming. Couldn’t recommend enough. The views are outstanding

Wonderful place to stay. Climbed the hill for an outstanding view. Played billiards watching a dvd of The Castle. Fed one of the alpacas, walked amongst the chickens and ate tomatoes straight from the garden. Accomodation clean and roomy. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Daisy Hill Lodge. Steve is very kind and thoughtful. He even allowed us to charge our electric car.

Fantastic place for a getaway. We stayed in the Boathouse and it was awesome!! Amazing views over the Eildon pondage. Very helpful hosts. Had a lovely time staying at Daisy Hill lodge. Beautiful scenery to look out at and a cosy and clean cabin with a fireplace to warm up in. Would definitely stay there again.

Our weekend was perfect... Picturesque scenery. Accomodation was clean and had everything we need. Host were very informative and friendly.

Good for a couple's getaway at the boathouse.
For a fair price, you get a whole cabin to yourself with the water body up front. You get to interact with the alpacas that are within the property.
They also have a higher ground which as been setup as a viewpoint or lookout.
The only pain is that the bathroom is not connected to the cabin and it is a bit inconvenient to have to go out of the cabin in the middle of the night.
