Stuzzichino Restaurant & Bar

There are a lot of overpriced, overcrowded, wannabe-trendy eateries on Lygon St that could learn a lot about service and food preparation from Stuzzichino. The best omelette in Melbourne; polite, personable staff; on the downhill side of the Grattan St intersection, so less selfies-&-vaping types.

Great place to get your morning coffee.
Lately they have had the most delicious fresh homemade pastries in the mornings. This morning I had one with salami, olives, cheese and spinach. It was perfection and better than an expensive fancy bakery that would charge double. Staff are warm and welcoming.

Some thing's should never change and Stuzzinchino is a great example of why they shouldn't. This is why love going to Lygon St Carlton. The food and coffee ☕ was really great 😋.

Amazing place. Vegetarian platter was beautiful- made veggies yummy. The matriciana was on point! The flavour was intense with plenty of bacon and olives. Only downside was that they ran out of potato skins (which is meant to be delicious as well). Guess we'll have to try it on our next visit. Wait staff were also friendly and helpful. Will become our new regular for Italian.

The breakfast is delicious and the coffee always consistent and well made.

Service is excellent.

You need to ask the old man to step back just a little bit and let us relax.( We know he's trying to help)

Amazes me why this restaurant isn't more packed/busy than it currently is. the food is fantastic, and all our Italian friends say it's the closest thing to Nonna's cooking. Only criticism is that the potato skins aren't as crispy as they used to be.

I had a great experience at Stuzzichino Restaurant & Bar. The carbonara was very delicious, and the chocolate fudge cake was the best I've ever had. The service was great, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Italian dining experience.

My son and I were in Melbourne for the F1. After the Ferraris got 1st and 2nd. Lygon st was a mad house with people cars.
The staff at Stuzzichino handled the craziness with professionalism.
The food was awesome. I will definitely be back.

We went out for lunch & stumbled upon this place by chance. The food was delicious, we took the kids who both had pasta, we also had pizzas & the bruschetta & it was all amazing. Would definitely go back & the staff were lovely as well so in all a great place!

Incredible service, talkative and greatly attentive staff. Latte was *perfect*, from the roast to the brew to the steaming. Chicken parmigiana was juicy and the cheese work was fabulous in its spread and consistency. The salad dressing was deliciously tangy and just as sour as you want it, and the salad itself was great and crunchy (although a little bit heavy on the lettuce ratio). Overall, this experience is one of those that drives people to write poetry and build monuments.

We had lunch and from the moment we stopped by, the staff were friendly and inviting. The food was amazing. Really some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. I’m nit sure why we hadn’t found this place yet. Definitely going back. The vibe was relaxing and the price reasonable. Can’t wait to go back and try the arancini and backed gnocchi!

The gnocchi was the bomb. The atmosphere was amazing and the staff were very accommodating. Needed a walk before the tiramisu which was like nectar from heaven. Love this place. Thanks Marisa for the fantastic service.
