Macquarie Park Boathouse Cafe

This place is a little gem and absolutely worth the ratings it has.
We orded a variety of food and everything that came out was amazing. They do fish and chips really well!
The servings are generous and the food is fresh.
I love the boathouse theme and the canteen style set up they have along with relaxed atmosphere there.
With the playground just out the front it's a great place to bring your family.

we had lunch there with our Probus club on thursday 29th Feb. Staff were genuinely friendly , service was quick , Food was also excellent. A definite re visit is on the cards.

Best fish and chip restaurant in the Hawkesbury. Barra and prawn dish excellent. And you can get 1/2 size portions. Well done again cookie And has a liquor license too

Had lunch there today with my wife. We both had the Boathouse fish and chips. It came with a nice salad. Excellent food at a good price. The fish had a light batter and we loved it. Served with a piece of lemon and tartar sauce. The best dish and chips in Windsor and well worth the visit. The service was friendly and helpful. They also sell bottles of local Bilpin Cider, alcoholic and non alcoholic. Love their ciders.
We should have been there ages ago when I heard about it. We will be back

Fantastic spot to visit, and equally tasty fish and chips. Friendly staff on hand to take your order. Good space for dine-in, and nice family atmosphere.

Great food and friendly staff. The restaurant is very clean and had by far the best burger and crispiest chips I’ve ever tasted.

Amazing to see this place working now, as I remember how sad it was a few years back before this restaurant was renovated.

Very nice fish and chips, all fresh and tasty, and the price is very reasonable. Also, some good selection of bottle beers in the fridge and wines to enjoy with your meal.

Will definitely be coming back again.

Lovely fish and chips, great park and playground for kids...

What a lovely little cafe overlooking park views. We randomly stopped here on our way to somewhere else and couldn’t be more happy with our luck. We tried their pizzas, such great quality food and service. Oh, and if you have kids there’s a fenced playground right next to it.

Took our 2 little dachshunds, had lunch which was lovely. Staff are the best! Took our dogs for a nice walk around the park grounds before going home.

Friendly staff. Good value for money. Awesome place for kids to play around the park. Plenty of parking space. Highly recommended⭐⭐⭐

I recommend our group to stop here today 19th Feb as there food is the best in the hawkesbury area, wait staff and service is friendly/welcoming... and of course the establishment has a awesome atmosphere ( well the food is even better ), I ordered salt and pepper calamari which came with garden salad and chips for 22bucks and I have to say it was the best I've had in decades..
Are group was about 10 and didn't hear one complaint from the most fussy person I've met, which goes with say this place is beauty bonza and a fair dinkum place to visit and enjoy..
P.S I am looking forward to my next visit to this outstanding establishment..

One our favourite places. Nothing is ever a problem and the location is right on the river. Great place for kids and adults alike. Take the drive and enjoy a great day.

Best value, tastiest, freshest seafood in the Hawkesbury. Not just seafood though, plenty of options to suit any tastes. Very reasonably priced menu for families. Given how busy the place can be I've never had to wait long for an order. Beautiful outlook on the scenic river, you won't be disappointed if you were to simply lay down a blanket & enjoy your food. We had the seafood platter during lockdown and it was presented beautifully & super fresh. Would recommend to anyone.

Food here was fresh and tasty. Great spot for lunch or dinner.

Food is excellent! We ordered half combo, calamari, pizza and oysters, and they are all freshed, and taste very good.

Service is very quick, considering that it's was busy when we came, food came out in less than 10 minutes after ordering.

Atmosphere is great as well as it's near the park and the river.

Place is very well family friendly, and was just across the park.

110% recommended to all family.

Make sure you get carelle as your waitress as she had very friendly and helpful customer service!

We had fish and chips very good only one thing wrong from the kitchen to the table the meal should have been hotter. Cheers

First review. We ordered the half serve fish and the beef burger. I am fussy with fish and found the hake was ok though it was beautifully prepared. The beef burger was a bit wet (veg needed to be better drained) but the beef patty was great.

The burger was good value at $18 and the Friday fish special was only $10 with both serves being HUGE. The service was also exceptional, even better than the views, and we will definitely be going back.

Had to update. Had lunch on Easter weekend. Packed house but service was still good. Had the salt and pepper squid and it was amazing as was the pizza. Highly recommend.
