Lorne World

Close to town centre and close to the ocean. Each apartment is themed and furnished differently. We stayed in the New York which was a fully loaded studio apt with 2 kids. At night you can hear the waves crash. Very happy with the stay and would definitely recommend.

Best location, so close to the beach and shops. Immaculately clean and well appointed, they have thought of everything. Communication from the owners was perfect and clear and access so easy. Loved the themed rooms, fun and funky. We will be back!

What a unique and fabulous apartment - we stayed in the 'California' with its amazing decor. The apartments are 2 minutes walk away the shops and restaurants. We could see the main beach from our lovely little courtyard. Melissa was very friendly and made contactless check in easy. The apartment had everything we needed and more including a nice cold bottle of bubbles,.. Thanks Melissa, we had a wonderful break.

My partner and I stayed in the Paris room for three nights. We loved the room, it was clean, functional and very well presented. You could tell a lot of effort had been put into the room to give it that luxury sense. The owners were lovely AND we got free wine! Definitely recommend.

All of the comforts in a generous sized studio apartment. The best bed. Immaculately clean. Premium quality at an affordable cost. The Hamptons at Lorne world is outstanding.

Can not rate this place highly enough. Best place I have ever stayed at. Location is perfect. Owners are amazingly friendly and accommodating, impeccable customer service. Room was stunning, the bed was the best I've ever slept in. Overall just a perfect stay and have no negatives what so ever. My partner and I throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for sure. We stayed in the beautiful Maldives studio with the amazing views down to the main beach and beyond. Mel and Ben were delightful, their warmth and kindness is admirable, we highly recommend Lorne World as the place to stay in beautiful Lorne

Our experience was delightful, Both Ben & Mel are amazing to deal with. We found the room was clean and had lots of extras which was to our surprise like a coffee machine with lots of Pods and lots more which I won't mention so I can leave it as a surprise for the next guests. Highly recommended...

I am not going to lie when my partner said we were staying in a themed room in a fairly remote beach town in Australia I was skeptical. Well that skepticism was completely unnecessary! I fell in love with the place the minute our host met us at the end of the driveway upon arrival. She escorted us to our Bali themed room. The room was very well decorated with a beautiful surfer mural on the wall, great furnishings, kitchen well equipped, cute patio with bistro table and comfy chair and a beautiful bathroom. Add Mel's great hospitality with the quaintness of Lorne and you are set for a great beach town vacation. I am only upset with two things, first that we didn't stay longer than one night and second that she is booked for the upcoming holiday weekend or I would be staying at Lorne World again! Highly recommend a stay here!

To say that they ‘go over and beyond’ is an understatement! Both Mel and Ben were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Not only were they extremely helpful but they actually care about giving you the best experience they can actually give during your stay.

Fantastic place to stay, had everything you need, with some great character and close to the beach. Well priced and easy to to book direct with the owners who went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. Highly recommend.

Simple but cosy accommodation. Room was very well decorated. Small kitchenette area with kettle, electric fryer/cooker, microwave. Toiletries were provided. There is no daily room service unless requested. Location is fantastic, short walk to shops/ cafes and beach, and an easy drive away from Erskine Falls. Wild cockatoos greeted us on arrival, and we even saw a barn owl at night. We had a hiccup with our agoda booking which was mysteriously cancelled the day of check in, but Mel managed to contact us and still sort out everything. She even left a bottle of wine in the room for us! This is no 5 star hotel stay, don’t expect facilities or concierge service, but it’s very comfortable and convenient for non fussy travellers.

We stayed at five motels along The G O R between Xmas & New Year 2016. Lorne World was by FAR the best experience. Perfectly styled room ( Greek Islands), perfect, thoughtful hostess and perfect location. We had the beer garden of the excellent Lorne Hotel right next door and the main seaside strip just around the corner. Its a long way from Sydney but we intend to relive the experience. These people have theaccommodation game down pat.
