Have been doing take away from here last 10 yrs. One of the cheap n best places to eat Indian food in this area. They do not do pay pass and credit card, only cash or debit card.

This is probably one of the quickest service in any restaurant. Food was really tasty.. staff is very friendly and helpful.. Kashmiri kofta was simply amazing. Presentation is not bad.. we have been here couple of times and the taste was same both the time..

This place has been getting bad reviews due to the rather cold service, but if you put that aside, the curries are tasty and the bathora is really good. Service could be friendlier though. Rotis are good too with reasonable pricing

I was going to book a table for dinner. It does not say on website that it is not licenced and not BYO wine. I phoned and a lady advised me that no alcohol is allowed on premises. Would be a good idea to make this explicit on website. Thank you .

It’s a great place to Indian street food in Melbourne. This is my go to place. I totally loved the food and ambience is very good. Every is so delicious and yummy. Will recommend it to everyone. Indians this is your place if you’re missing your country and Australians you should try our food you’ll go crazy for sure. ✨😃

Wallet Friendly & Best Indian food in Melbourne - Victoria, very delicious authentic full of spices butter chicken. Others just simply can’t compare. Garlic Naan & Biryani are also very good.

Best value for money Indian food we have had in Melbourne. Food had true Indian flavors and spices. Service was served quickly and we had no problems with the staff.
The decor was mediocre but the value for money and flavours more than compensated for it.
Will definitely head back again.

We are regulars here for the (super cheap) food. The food is exceptionally good (specially chicken tandoori) and I don’t think it’s fair to expect an exceptionally good service from the staff. We go there mostly after 10pm and the staff seemed to be very tired so a little bit of better management could help improve the service.

However, if the staff are getting underpaid to compensate for the surprisingly cheap food then that’s a big no. If the management is reading this then please ensure that these things are taken into consideration.

Overall, the food is good, the price is very affordable and if they treat their staff right then they fully deserve the 5 star rating.

I have been to the top rated and most talked about Indian restaurants in Melbourne. I can definitely say that this for sure is the best if you are looking for original Punjabi flavours. Try Chandigarh style curry chicken with bone which is awesome if you are looking to satisfy your taste buds!

Place is packed full of people eating thus the food must be good. The food turnover rate is high thus the food must be fresh.

Food is delicious and I never tried this type of food in any other restaurant in Melbourne. It's really mouthwatering dish.

Authentic home style fresh cooked Indian cuisine. Thoroughly enjoyable meal. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Awesome awesome Indian food. We always drop by when I visit my friends or parents.

I have been fan of Anshumann Da Dhaba since 2008 when I was living near Clayton. I moved in West in 2011 but still visited this pace time to time coz food here is so yummy that I literally crave for it some times. Their Afghani Kofta is my favourite. This place is mostly busy, specially over the weekend but their service is very quick so you don't have to wait long even if it's Full. Prices are very reasonable. I really recommend this place for food lovers.

Clean, basic decor gets very busy at times. Very authentic North Indian food at really good prices!

The restaurant was very inviting, as soon as we entered we where greeted with hospitality and kindness.The service was phenominal and the waiters made sure to cater all of our needs. The food was flavourful, authentic and just purely amazing! Would definitely come here again!
