This store has the loveliest team! I received assistance from staff members Jack ⭐ + Louise ⭐ when I visited on 04/03/24. They were both so friendly, knowledgeable & patient with me. It could tell that they are both so passionate about their roles. I was super indecisive and instead of rushing me out of the store or pressuring me to make a prompt purchase they helped me to carefully consider my options and ensure I was making the right decision. Thank you Jack & Louise!

Leather is always tough and first month wearing em would be tortuous.

Ladies working here are kind, friendly and helpful. They did a stateside stock search to figure out which outlet has the particular style, colour and size that I was after. Thanks heaps. 😊

The most incredible customer service and that’s all thanks to Immy and Niamh, I was in there buying the new Doc loveheart handbag and those two made it the most incredible experience, super friendly, super lovely and just all around amazing individuals.

I went to the doc shop and was immediately greeted by Naimh. Naimh was very helpful and friendly. I knew what I wanted but I needed guidance buying a brand new pair. They helped me with choosing the size of my shoes and educated me about how best to break them in. Midway through serving us Naimh had to serve someone else so Imogen took over. They were very friendly, gave excellent service and again had so much information and general love for Doc Martens as a brand. These two really are great brand ambassadors and I would definitely buy from this store again, especially if they were serving me.

My partner dragged me to three other stores before we bought the shoes, to get the best deal. We came back to the doc store because no one could beat the price. I can guarantee you no other shop had the passion, Knowledgeable and general enthusiasm as both Imogen and Naimh did. My old, fall apart docs were ancient and scruffy but at no time did I feel judged or embarrassed. The durability of the shoes has been proven time and time again. Other shops I went to didn’t have nearly as much of a welcoming vibe.

I came here to find a pair of white Docs I had found online and really loved, unfortunately they didn’t have them in stock, but Heather, one of the store assistants was so helpful in finding me a store that did have it.

She really made my experience in-store a great one even though the shoe wasn’t available there. I felt very welcomed by her, and she was super knowledgeable about the sizing and care of the shoes, which I had no idea about. Turns out I would’ve bought the wrong size anyway without her!
I will absolutely be back here again.

Absolutely amazing customer service by (I think their name was) Adrienne. I came in at around 2:30 on the 8/1. They were so lovely and very knowledgeable about what shoes they could offer me and how to properly take care of my new boots. Also had a good chat and they were very covid safe! Best customer experience I've had in a while, thank you so much 😁

I visited the Dr Martens store tonight (19/5/22 at 7pm) to purchase some new boots, and was served by Troy. I received the best customer service - Troy was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with the sizing. I ended up purchasing something a little different to what I went in for, and I'm in love with my new boots. Thanks Troy!

got my first pair of Docs from here, Kim was really nice and patient, really enjoyed choosing my first pair with him (1460 pascal chain)! thank you so much, definitely will be back for a second pair some time :)

Was here to buy some shoes with a friend. Staff were exemplary! Helpful, nice, relatable! Everything you want when spending money at a nice shoe store. The shoes themselves are great quality leather! The only concern I had was limited stock on one or two items (you can always buy elsewhere or online if this occurs). Overall great store, would recommend coming here if considering buying some Dr Martins.

I came in today just to buy some new shoelaces and left with a massive smile on my face!!! The girls at the new store (Niamh and Cass) provided such excellent bright and bubbly customer service it felt like I was talking to friends I’d known for years. They not only replaced my shoelaces for me, they also polished my beloved Sinclair boots and explained the importance of a weekly polish and how to properly care for my shoes. They understood that I wasn’t a Melbourne local and gave me a massive list of great things to do around the city which was incredibly helpful. They were the dictionary definition of going above and beyond. I will definitely be going back again!! 🌷

Service was above and beyond! I walked in today to try and find some rose docs I brought 3 years ago. They didn’t have it, but I was still super happy with what I came out with. I was served by Cass and Matilda ? ( I think. ) and they polished my old shoes, and also went out of their way to try call other stores to find the shoes I wanted. Thank you so much!

The store manager is AMAZING!!

I bought the 1461 online on sale but the size didn't fit me so I went to melbourne central store but they were out of stock so the staff there asked me to contact the customer service team and when I contacted them, they said they can only refund and not exchange the shoes which means that I would end up paying the full price. Then I went to Swanston street store, and the staff there said me the same thing (to contact customer service) as they were out of stock as well for size UK 8. I told them what customer service told me and then she called the area manager and sort out this for me. In a week, I received my shoes delivered to me from Newtown, NSW.
