Violet Town Community Market

Excellent Victorian Country Market. Held on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Over 250 stalls. Lots of variety & plenty of food & coffee stalls. Lovely way to spend a Saturday morning.

Visited Violet town market, which meets on the second Saturday each month. A wonderful experience with a large number of stalls to view. Excellent coffee from a mobile caravan. There is a cafe with a large indoor seating area . Great leathergoods, shoes, and all manner of other businesses to peruse. Truly a large market.

Definitely recommended and we'll be back, this time we'll give ourselves abit more time as there's so much to look at.

A vibrant up market Market with good value in the products for sale. I am biased as I have a stall selling Cejuvenate Orange Perl Powder (a high efficacy anti-inflammatory). Today was less stalls and less people due to drizzle until about 10.30am. Chris the market co-ordinator & his team do a terrific job in running this long running market - well done! Make time to visit for a couple of hours!

Surprisingly extensive market. We hadn't been for decades and enjoyed the wide range of goods available. Unfortunately it had been raining the last few days and was a bit boggy but that didn't deter us or the many people there. Lots of parking too. Highly recommended.

Food, wood and steel art, soaps, handicrafts as well as a good collection local and international style street food..

A GREAT VARIETY OF STALLS MANY FOOD STALLS TO CHOOSE FROM ALOT OF CRAFTS AND PLANRS AVAILABLE, YOU COULD ALMOST SPEND ALL DAY THERE. LOVELY TOWNSHIP VERY OLD BUT QUAINT. AND THEY HAVE THE TRAIN STATION THERE.

Such a great day out for people looking for a market with a good range. I love having a look at all the amazing arts and crafts goods then grabbing the great produce and a coffee on the way out. If you want to make it a full day there's always plenty of food options (for vego and non vego) for meals, also just a fantastic way to support the local community as a lot of the food places and stalls are ran by locals to the area!

Such a great atmosphere! All stall holders were lovely, with some even giving away some free goods! Great buskers and music as well. Thanks for the beautiful day Violet Town! :)

This is a great market, always busy and so many different stalls to choose from. A bit of an eclectic mix between a farmers market and a trash and treasure. Don't eat before you go though, as there is always plenty of different foods on offer and its a shame not to give your taste buds a treat.

Nice market, relatively quiet location, easy access off the freeway, enough parking for a country town. Lots and lots of stalls, more alternative than most with items not really elsewhere available. Shade and places to sit, wood fired pizza, coffee and fresh F&V. Two pubs in town plus plenty of other shops. My first time but not my last.

So many stalls selling local produce, handmade products and plants. The food on offer is also amazing!!! There is something for everyone. All the stall holders are very friendly and helpful if you have any questions regarding their products.

Without shadow of a doubt - the biggest and best regional Victorian market. Always packed full of stuff you actually want (or need) you'll never leave empty handed. Whether it's smallgoods, plant stock, tools, meats, clothes its all here. Well worth the drive. Highly recommended.
