Tidal River Units

Staying here is so relaxing. Wilson's Promontory is 3 hours from Melb. Worth the drive. Everyone visiting are always respectful and looking to be away in Nature.

If you don't want to camp book ahead and stay in a cabin

These self contained Units are modern clean and well equipped. The location is excellent with beautiful views. We highly recommend these units, and will definitely be booking again.

No TV or Internet - so perfect

Have stayed here twice now, great value for money with a excellent location.
This second stay in the Domain Unit I noticed instantly the cleanliness had decreased. I'll post that below and focus on the positives!
Great views with these units, there is a balcony with nice open sliding doors and outdoor seating.
Nice open sunny living room with small kitchen, oven, stove microwave and fridge freezer. Enough utensils to get you out of trouble but no cooking oil, aluminium foil or salt supplied. Bring your own eveything.
You can hear other residents playing music etc in the adjoining unit, they can be connected if staying in a group/family. Now for the cons, Spider webs eveywhere, dust bunnies, kitchen splash back dirty, pots and crockery are washed by previous guests?
The toilet wasn't cleaned properly, the vanity sink drained really slowly and had grey gunk on it and down the pipe. Shower water goes eveywhere in the bathroom even with shower curtains, need cleaning tool to help with this as slippery floor ain't great neither is wet socks.
The couch cushion covers are dirty and spotty and need a good clean or perhaps change them to more suitable material that doesn't show every mark, didn't use the couch due to this.
The plega bed was quite noisy when trying to sleep, kept waking each other up everytime you tried to roll over (we booked the mobile accessible unit).

Nice little self-contained unit tucked away in Tibal River. Kitchen with fridge stove oven sink and microwave.

We did, however, have a poor experience with Park Victoria check-in staff. We asked if there was a chance we could check in early (20mins) so we could set up quickly for chips nap. We were told that "we all needed a nap." Then, upon checking in at 2 p.m., we were then told sorry rooms might not be ready. There were also ants coming through in the kitchen.
