Selera 'Malay Hawker Food'

My time here at this restaurant was amazing and the food here was spicy and full of flavour. The owner that was running the shop was very kind and wholesome to me! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people that love Malay food.

Lontong is my favourite order since I can't get it anywhere else in my area! And authentic too, as the cook was a hawker in Eunos, Singapore and has been in the business for many years.

They offer a wide range of Authentic Malaysian Food! And when I say authentic it's home style cooking. Nasi Lemak is packed and wrapped with banana leave. It's so aromatic it honestly brings back school days memories and it's very comforting.

The aunty that owns this place, Aunty Normah she is so hospitable and friendly. I would recommend the nasi lemak (my all time fav) with otak otak!

They usually sell Ikan bakar but due to covid she's not offering it. It will be back next year 🤞🏽 but that's another dish to die for! Love this place! Always consistent and fresh! Unlike any Malaysian restaurants I've tried 😉

Selera Singapore is an amazing stop for nasi lemak lovers. The sambal has authentic malay flavours, not your typical sweet spicy sambal. There’s also a wide variety of sides to choose from - curry chicken, beef rendang, fish curry and many more! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a go and support your local restaurant. The makcik here is funny and friendly too!

Homely feel and good value. Would recommend nasi lemak and roti prata. Roti is very fresh and flaky.

Great food can transport you to another land when it is genuine, prepared with love, and full of flavour. Visit Selera to be transported momentarily to Malaysia, to be enveloped in the tastes, scents, and textures of geniune Hawker food. Always just what we needed for the day. (Update Dec 2023 - been coming here for 10 years, Norma's is still the best!!)

I always order Nasi Campur ( rice with 3 dishes from Bain Marie with fried chicken plus lot of sambal. :)

Wow I am so upset I didn't find this place sooner. I ordered the Nasi Lemak today and was impressed with every bite. This is proper authentic and as a restaurant owner I know this is quality food using quality ingredients. Small family owned shop, the people there are super friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour and try this place out!!!

If you're looking for Authentic Singaporean Malay food, look no further! My partner and I just took away nasi campur and nasi bryani for lunch. The taste was great, bought back a lot of memories from home. Poor auntie only had 2 customers today due to Covid restrictions. Please continue to support such a small businesses for them to survive.

This place serves authentic malay food. On the weekend they have some special and also malay sweets (kuih).
Recommended for people who want to try home style malay dishes.
Few dishes available from the bain marie - if you don't like them to be mixed with the rice they are happy to split them on small plates/bowls.

One of my go to restaurant! Serving the best malay food, and their Ikan Bakar with Sambal is the bomb! (but make sure to call in first cause sometimes it sold out really fast!) Makcik Normah is the most friendliest ever! Definitely would recommend to try their food!
