Just a gem 4 free camps around Stanage bay top fishing crabing spot. paradice Bevan, Brad & Maree run the crab pot bar,store,servo a pleasure to meet them we came in for 4 days stayed for 9 weeks last time. This time who knows.

Great store and friendly service. Some say 7 stores in one. General store, fuel, fishing, cafe some days, pub, dinners, pool. You get the idea. The place to go in this tiny fishing village to find what you need. Staff can be overstretched (but still friendly) on Sat night when they run their Saturday night dinner specials which you must book ahead for.

Can recommend the Fish Burgers at the CrabPot Bar. Plus their wonderful hospitality, we had flat tyre, they helped me change the tyre and organised the flat being fixed, back on the car all in 50minutes. Very impressed. Thank you to the fella at Barra Lodge and the people of Stanage Bay we had Great visit.

Awesome spot for a Beer or three 🍻 A good tale and a laugh... Friendly Folk and Delicious food... The shop stocks just about everything you want and if they don't they'll do their best to get it!!! Definitely worth a visit ✌✌✌

Bevan, Maree and Brad are such great owner operators and will help you in any way possible within reason.
So very helpful with fishing crabing info and serve great affordable meals.
Will also take your shopping lists for pick up from Rockhampton on a weekly basis.👩‍🦳🤠🇦🇺💓👍

Bevan & Maree where excellent hosts last week end. Stopped by for a game of pool at lunch time and went back for the roast that night.
Looking forward to the next camping trip and beers around the pool table.
