Sawyer Park

Scenic and pleasant park by the river. The seating is really well designed and fits into the riverbank, and tables are made of really beautiful timber - obviously a lot of thought and care went into this space. Appreciated the nearby war memorial and small space to kick the footy. Even the regular joggers and perambulators were friendly!

Great park down by the river. Just came for the dawn service, but ended up walking back later in the morning. Nice quiet place for a walk.

Inviting, great use of native planting n great sandstone blocks throughout. A really lovely addition to our Riverside experience.

This area keeps getting better every time that we visit.
The new picnic areas, the improved toilets and the soon to be finished playgrounds.
All it needs to finish it off is a riverside cafe.

Once again this place exceeded my expectations. Food and music is always great, but the customer service is what stands out. I called last week to get some information on the upcoming concerts, and the manager Lance took the time to answer all of my questions. Taking the time for customers goes a long way! A very relaxing spot alongside the river...public amenities okay BBQ areas verry good ...checkout 2 power points on side of BBQs....take along elect.kettle for after bbq coffee...instead of thermos..finding this on a few public bbqs

A great park adjacent to the wimmera river, has an terrific set-up with a undercover BBQ area and awesome play park for the kids.

Great place for walks , fishing ,swimming, lots of live music 🎶 events has Anzac memorial and close to BBQ and toilets and other events , based on Wimmera river. Across from Horsham city oval and caravan park

We went on a motor bike ride from ballarat and right around in a circle it was the hottest day. We stopped at Sawyer park. With all the trees and the water it cooled us down. Had toilets and a good place to eat and relax

Great place to stop and have a break on a roadtrip. Clean restrooms and shaded picnic areas.

The eve was very very very cold. People were all rugged up to escape. The strong cold wind. . No rain. fell the local guitarist Aaron Murray delighted the very large attendance. With HALLALULIA. song. The program was. A varied song items .the special guest lady , thrilled the crowd with beautiful singing of Christmas Carols. The final act of sky filled with very pretty coloured Stars and loud Bangs. I just praised God for his goodness n love. Geoffrey x
