Rise of Robe Specialty Bread

Truly special. Fresh baked locally every single morning. I'd love to say there's a standout, but every product is outstanding in it's own right. They sell out most days, so if you're looking for pastries get in by 9-9:30 the latest. An absolute unmissable stop while you're in Robe.

This has to be one of the finest places I have ever been. The Portuguese Egg tart, a favourite of my partners, brought her to tears...it was perfect. The croissant was the best I've ever had, perfect lamination, soft and melts in the mouth. Of all the places to see, this is a MUST. Today was a first time for me and he has a new fan!

Love these ‘Pain au chocolat’ - worth the trip into town and enjoy with a coffee from Governor Robe too.

Really excellent family run and owned sour dough bakery. We had the white sour dough, fruit loaf, croissants and Portuguese tarts. All of which were of excellent quality. They proudly make real sour dough.

I had my first chocolate crossiant today from here and omgosh was it delicious. The pastry was flakey, light and had delicious chocolate in the middle. I also picked up a fresh loaf of sourdough which was still warm! I can’t wait to try it!

I look forward to finding a sourdough place on my travels and Rise did not disappoint. Checked in yesterday and missed the fruit one as it was so popular, so went back earlier today. Absolutely delicious and will be taking a loaf back home with us later in the week plus some Portuguese tarts. Recommended but get there at opening! 🥐🍞😎

Popped in mid morning on the Saturday when we were in robe. Couldn't believe the weight in the loaf. Got my son to hold it. He was like what that's massive. Made the best toasted sandwichs back at the caravan park. Amazing bread.

Never in my life have I had bread that is so fresh and that smells so delicious!

The owners for this store have so much passion and love towards what they do which is replicated into the store itself along with all of their baked items

The range is limited but the quality is great. We bought the sourdough here most days during our holiday in April 2021. I haven't had better sourdough. It's moist and full of flavour. Great for a sandwich or jam and cream when fresh and it makes wonderful toast. We tried the croissants and Portuguese tarts as well and made repeat purchases. The gentleman behind the counter is very gracious. My young grandchildren had the confidence to make their first unsupervised shopping experience by walking down and buying our bread from him. When we left we made sure to buy loaves to take home with us. If you visit Robe and you like quality bread you MUST try this shop.

After hearing about these specialty breads we had to try them for ourselves. We were not disappointed. First thing I did upon returning to the motel here, was to dip pieces of the sour dough into a little bowl of virgin olive oil, with salt and pepper... I thought I was back in Italy again. The Pain de Chocolate were perfect, as were the croissants. Worthy of any paitisserie in Paris. The Portuguese Tarts are being held hostage until tonight. Well done and thank you for restoring our faith in finding the right bread, here in Robe. Well done, we shall return.

Amazing fresh bread and other treats!!!!! I always come to Rise Of Robe Sourdough, for their amazing bread and delicious sweat treats! The bread and pasteries are AMAZING (definitely the best bread in Robe and maybe even the state!). I love the Portugese custard tarts, the croissants and the plain sourdough! The sourdough is often still warm from the oven when you buy it! WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!

Wow - dense, sour and spongey, just how I like my sourdough. Great fresh or as toast the next day.

Great, tasty sourdough, warm buttery crossiants, pain au chocolat, and PORTUGUESE TARTS- pretty much perfection. I loved this bakery, get there early or you might miss out!!

Got the fruit loaf and it was very good. I would have preferred a bit more fruit in the loaf but the bread was spot on.

Very friendly, found out his starter yeast 18 years old. A master bread maker.

Wonderful sourdough baguettes croissants & Portuguese tarts. Well worth shopping here & supporting the local community.
