A nice waterfront park at Woy Woy.

Parking can be a bit challenging at the park's carpark on weekends due to the large amount of boating activities taking advantage of the two boat ramps but there are large amounts of street parking nearby. Lots of jet skis when the water is calm.

A public toilet and fish cleaning benches are available. Lots of rock fishing activities on the Sunday when we visited but no competition against offshore based anglers.

The park itself is full of family with kids, taking full advantage of the playground. There are also people with the four legs best friends.

There are many waterbirds camping around waiting for returning boats around the clean benches for a free meal: pelicans, ducks etc. I spotted a curious ray in the shallows checking out the rocks probably for crustaceans. An indication of reasonable water quality.

Stunningly beautiful park on the water has free barbecue cooker and picnic tables underneath the trees. Popular with fishermen it has unisex public toilets and is next to a public boat ramp. The local bowling club is next to the large parking area there is even a Sea Scout hall at the water's edge. There is also a lovely walking and cycle path.

I met with Central Coast Doggie Dates at the Lions Park for an afternoon walk. A great walk combined with friendly and supportive dog owners and their pups. Great experience.

A great weekend getaway for Sydneysiders, Lions Park is just about 57 kms North of Hornsby. Located at the beautiful Bay Side Town Woy Woy and surrounded by Brisbane Water, Lions Park is a very popular attractions for tourists and locals alike. With a Pelican Island nearby, the park is teamed with many wide lifes. I have been there several times for picnics and BBQs with family and friends, and I have just fallen in love with it. With Coles and Woolworths in town, as well as many shops, you can enjoy plentiful varities of foods. However, the BBQ facility is highly in demand, partcularly during the weekends, because there is only one. So be prepared please. Still, highly recommend. I am uploading a few photos.

Arts/cultural gathering every 2nd Friday night. 5-10pm... open mic, displays of all sorts, sales, purchases, and plenty to keep kids busy. It's a great night. Lots of good new ppl to meet. I was made to feel like I belonged straight away. A really enjoyable night whether you join in, just wanna sit and watch, or decide to purchase something from one of the art displays!

Great place to start a bike trip that is over 10km. It is a very scenic route where you oversee the lake and the mountains. Can rent out bikes to go cycling and is a quick city escape from the big beautiful Sydney.
