Fantastic experience at this pub! The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. It's the perfect spot to unwind on a Friday night, with great DJ music and a lively crowd. Highly recommend for a chill night out!

Absolutely awesome pub!! We came last Friday while on holiday in Adelaide. Really loved the vibe with DJ mixing great tunes, awesome cocktail menu and great food. Very friendly and helpful service as well 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

We really enjoyed our dinner at the Gilbert!! We are local. We loved the different eating areas, out the front, back and indoors. Staff were lovely and so helpful! We enjoy a range of dishes including the barramundi, jackfish and curry dishes. Every dish was presented well using fresh produce, no frozen seafood, and all seasoned well. Really spacious dining area, clean bathrooms and easy to get to. Enjoy

Great pubgrub, more gastro pub meal, we had the Angus beef snitty with the onion rings and peppercorn sauce on the snitty. Delish, the macho macho larger on tap was great, too. The beef schnitzel was very reasonably priced at $22.00. If you want to enjoy a great meal and a beer, the pub is charming and has a great atmosphere.

Yéééé we found a place that is alive in Adelaide. This place is fantastic, lots of people great choices of beer a bit iff the beaten track. Still in cbd but we meet a lot of local people. Nice chat, did i mention nice beers. Loved it.

Had to write a review because I had the cauliflower steak with crispy chickpeas and hummus yesterday and it was HEAVEN! The hummus was the stuff of dreams and I don’t know what you did to that red onion but it was fantastic! I’ll be coming back just for that delicious flavour party! The live music was also great 😊

I was there on Sat.18th Nov. 2023.with about 15 or so friends celebrating the the lives of two dear friends taken too early. Sam and the staff at the hotel would not have known why we were there however their professional,smiling service along with the generous finger food on the pubs 175th birthday made what is to be a tri annual event for us all a very special occasion. I cannot thank you enough. See you in March.

Great place to have drinks after work, or dinner catch up with friends. The menu is great with variety and the options of beverages are abundant. Food tastes great and service was fantastic. Live bands playing most days, but check in advance. Recommend booking a table in advance on Fridays.

The BEST fish and chips I’ve ever had, lightly bathed and tenderness that melted in my mouth. My fiancés pizza was also cooked to perfection. The perfect balance!! Crust cooked excellently. If you’re in Adelaide you would be stupid not to come here! Traveled all the way for Victoria and would do it again in a heartbeat

It is a one of the best pub in the CBD. Especially I recommend to visit it on Sunday when live music and they have very cool beer Mucho Mucho Lager.

All our meals were superb. It really was a step above the normal pub meal. I had the New York pizza. It was seriously tasty.
The prices were very reasonable too.

GSH is a beautiful venue and even more so on a Sunday afternoon with live music and warm atmosphere. We enjoyed catching up as a group of friends over drinks and look forward to returning for a meal in the near future. I’m about to move into the area so I’m feeling as if this going to be my new local

Favourite little place to enjoy a few drinks alone, with friends, during the day or night. Read the paper, come for wings night, chat to the peeps around, live music is chill and non-amplified with new beers all the time. Great spot

Looked like a really nice place for dinner but we didn't book and it was jumpin' when we arrived, next time we will book. Good atmosphere! Cool place!

This is the go to place for all your chicken wings craving. They have a great variety of wings and the suicide is an ultimate bomb! A great place to dare your friends for a Chillie challenge.

They also have a good vego menu.

When I was told my meal would be delayed 10min, they provided a free drink - great customer focused service. And the salmon salad was delicious.

Brilliant place with old at front and new at back. Food and many options exceeded what we thought we would get. Great experience.
