Tooleybuc Motel

We stayed in Room 1 for a night on our way to Adelaide recently and again on our way back. We can't fault anything at all. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated but there's nothing wrong with that! It was spotless, very comfortable, quiet, and large. The best thing of all was the verandah looking across the road to the river, it was so peaceful sitting there in the afternoon. The man at reception (not sure if it was the manager) was also very friendly and welcoming. Tooleybuc itself is a lovely little place, and I highly recommend walking along the river at sunset. If we travel that way again in the future we will definitely be staying here again.

Fantastic motel. We stayed overnight on our way through and were pleasantly surprised with the quality. Clean and big pool, clean and big rooms and great location in town.

We literally just arrived. Just the welcoming nature of the manager deserves 5 stars. For EV drivers just let them know that you need a charge. There's no charge facilities here, but the manager will let you plug into the 10amp socket.

Great little spot right on the river. Self contained cabins had everything you need and the peaceful surroundings are just stunning.

We had a wonderful time at the Tooleybuc Motel over Christmas this year. Most others we met at the motel were only staying over night on their way to somewhere else but we stayed 4 nights at the motel and had a ball. The pool was perfect on the hot days, the room was super comfortable, air con worked a treat and the owners were really lovely. It turned out to be a great base from which to explore other parts of the Murray/Mallee region. If you're looking for a peaceful, relaxed holiday with a classic Aussie feel, the Tooleybuc Motel is the place for you.

Great location to stop while travelling for our family!
Our host was kind and helpful, and the beds were very comfortable. Also it is located near a great playground along the Murray for the kids to burn travelling energy, and next to a hotel with good hospitality where the people served us a very nice dinner. We will be back next time we travel through!

Very clean and well presented little country motel. Great staff who make you feel very welcome. All this next door to a very cool and tastefully renovated little country pub.

We stayed 2 separate nights and both times the rooms were extremely clean and nice and quiet.
The breakfast was generous and well cooked, very good value. The hotel is within spitting distance (right next door) and the food was good. Overall I highly recommend this clean and very friendly motel

Great quiet position with comfortable and clean facilities. Good advice provided by manager about the area and local hotel.

Booking direct is as competitive price wise as agencies which invariably charge significant fees.

Stayed here 4th and 5th October 2023. Lovely clean and tidy room nothing to complain about at all.

Good place, parking area just outside the living place, room is big and comfortable, although some equipment is old, but everything is price worth.

The room was large and spotless, staff very helpful and loved the kitchnette. Lovely and relaxing sitting out front under the veranda looking at the river. Would definitely use this motel again.

I haven't stayed here...yet, but I needed some local help ie, if the bridge was open across the Murray river. The lady who answered the phone was so lovely!! Thank you and merry Christmas. If I need to stay in Tooleybuc I'm going to book here 😊

Great motel comfortable beds

The service was excellent and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and more than we could have asked for for a simple overnight stay. I would highly recommend!

Nice, big room next to the mighty Murray. My room was well priced for what it offered. In general, this is nice spot to stop o/n.
