We're new to indoor plants and had Matt spend time with us answering all our questions and advising on best options. He was a wealth of info and we could tell he loved what he was doing. Will def be back when we're ready for our next ones.

I would highly recommend this place if you are after excellent quality and a large range of trees and plants. The cafe is busy for good reason, the food is amazing and is constantly evolving and changing and such incredible staff. Book early for high tea, it's worth it.

Voted the best nursery in NSW and the ACT and you can certainly see why when you visit here. The plants are so healthy, the cafe is wonderful. The perfect outing on a perfect autumn day. 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺

A large garden centre with huge range of plants, advise and expert help. The Cafe has grown to a large size over the years offering amazing cakes decorated in flowers, scones and cream tea or something more substantial, such as my brisket burger photo with the most amazing onion rings (non greasy)
Some homewares in a separate shop on site and garden accessories store at the entrance/ exit

I love it.

Is really amazing and have a lot of different variety of plants.

From indoor, outdoor, bonsai, flowers, garden and all about garden supplies.

Is you are a bee lover you have suits, honey extractor, wood pollinator houses for helping the bees and more.

You have lovely a coffee shop inside but during weekends is good to have a booking in advance, was really busy, but with good breaky special.

Could not recommend this place more and our new go to Nursery. This lovely gentlemen Ben, took time out of his lunch break to personally show us different plant recommendations and help design our garden. What great service!

If you get a chance to stop at this place it's well worth a look I had the chicken salad with beetroot and roasted pumpkin. I added two fried eggs to the top which they were happy to accommodate an overall it was a beautiful flavour, well worth a try!

Picture 1 is my altered salad, the eggs being the addition.

Picture 2 is how it comes to the table, as standard.

We live about a 1 hour drive from Heritage Gardens so we made a phone call to see if what we were after was in stock. Matt not only confirmed it was but he took a photo to show us colour options. He then put our selection behind the counter to hold for us. We had the pleasure of meeting Matt when we got there later in the day. He was so knowledgeable and friendly as were the other staff working behind the counter. We’ll be back!

Since moving to Port Stephens in 2021, we have often driven past this nursery and quoted, we must have a look in there.
Yesterday decided to go for a drive.
How pleased we were, what an absolutely beautiful place.
All the plants were very healthy looking, large range, walkways clean and dry, easy to manoeuvre around especially as my husband uses a walker.
Large amount of pots, garden seats and so many different species of plants, with choices of many colourful displays.
Unfortunately the cafe wasn’t opened as it looked so inviting, surrounded by many flower gardens and shrubs.
We bought a number of potted plants, which as soon as I got home, replanted into my garden.
None were pot bound and the soil was rich and damp.
There is really no choice in the Nelson Bay Area for nursery’s. Bunnings is always a disappointment, when we have bought from them it’s quite noticeable that they bulk buy and the plants once home to replant are dry.
Another thing which was noticeable, staff in the garden area and in the shop, all friendly, happy and approachable.
Definitely worth the 50 minute drive to visit Heritage Gardens.

We recently moved to the Central Coast after 50+ years in Sydney, so are familiar with the likes of Plants R Us, Flower Power etc. Heritage Gardens Nursery is really a breath of fresh air. A beautiful plant nursery with healthy plants, particularly fruit trees with which I have an affinity. Purchased a Amman Guava during our 1st visit there today. Tim, a staff member was helpful and most friendly, an asset to the business. We will certainly be back.

Bought a maple tree here today. The horticulturist that helped me was very knowledgeable and happy to spend the time with me in choosing the right tree.

Price of the tree was nearly double I'd seen at other nurseries but the tree was much better quality than I'd seen elsewhere.

Great range of stock
