Well where do I start with this tranquil destination. How about WOW. Stunning from the moment you arrive. The View firstly of Mt Warning is superb. It constantly changes as no two pictures are the same. The feeling you get when you arrive is of a serene nature. As we walked past the infinity pool towards our villa you get the feeling of calmness come over you.
The Villa was perfect, I could not fault it. The layout, the attention to detail with everything flowing and matching and topped of by the view. The villa opens out to a 180 degree view of the local area and Mt Warning close by. Can't wait to return for our next visit. This is the perfect retreat owned and operated by the most beautiful people. They make your visit so welcoming.

We celebrated 2 milestone events & had a really relaxing time. The hot tub, the pool, the views, the bath, the comfy bed, the views!!
The villa was very clean & cozy yet spacious & tastefully decorated. The deck was perfect for meals, relaxing, and watching that view! The essentials were all provided and so many generous added extras. The communication was easy.
We were only able to get away for one night but would have stayed longer if we could.

There is absolutely nothing I can fault about this magical place. The views are out of this world. Whether you are in your bathtub, on your villa deck or in the pool - there is a stunning view wherever you are! The villas have been designed so beautifully and the Rocher family have not missed any details. The perfect touches throughout the villa and spotless clean. Graham was a very warm and welcoming host. He has done a magnificent job with this property. Thank you for having us! Highlights for us were of course the bathtub views and the large flock of yellow tailed black cockatoos.

My husband and I enjoyed our combined 3rd wedding anniversary and babymoon at La Rocher. It was exactly what we needed, relaxing, peaceful and luxurious. The setting was absolutely magnificent with stunning views of Mt Warning and surrounds, a huge array of birds to admire from the balcony and was super peaceful. The facilities were above and beyond, we had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend of disconnecting from reality but reconnecting as a couple. Highly recommended.

This was pure luxury for celebrating our anniversary. The villas are fully equipped and are gorgeous. The views are the best in the world with the tropical rain forest and Mount Warning. We found a bit of magic in just watching the mountain interact with the clouds. We loved the pool and the property. Only regret is not staying longer and taking up becoming real bird watchers. I still feel relaxed from this getaway.

Luxurious privacy nestled in an absolutely breathtaking landscape. The villas are tasteful and discreet and the Rocher family are fantastic hosts ensuring a totally stress free and relaxing stay. My wife had an excellent massage on the deck of our villa overlooking the amazing vista with Mt Warning as the centerpiece.

Wow, this place is a little slice of heaven! My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here and it was just amazing. The view- breathtaking. The villa- private, immaculate , beautiful and oh so comfortable. My massage out on our private deck- wow. The staff- so caring and kind. Floating in the pool while overlooking a stunning view of Mt Warning was incredible. I can’t wait to return in Winter so I can try out the fireplace and hot tub. So much to offer any time of year! Highly recommend visiting this tranquil hidden gem.

Incredible place! Stayed here as my bridal suite and mini honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect, the hosts are so lovely and the villas are so comfortable and cosy (not to mention the views!)
My family and friends who got ready with me before my wedding were also very impressed!

Everything about this place is perfection. The location is sublime, the rooms and facilities are beyond comfortable - every little thing has been thought of; from the granola and cereals available, to the beautiful bath with surrounding view and even after sun lotion is provided!
The pool is beautiful, with a view of the hinterland.
We opted for a morning yoga session with Alysha which was beautiful and doing yoga with that backdrop was beyond tranquil.
The owner Graham is an absolute delight and truly makes the place feel like home.

Highly recommend! The place is amazing and the hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating. Incredible views from just about everywhere on the property from the pool, balcony, bathroom and bed. An easy 5 stars all around the board! This place is exquisite! Incredilbe view. The villas are amazing with a lot of attention to detail. The bed... honestly tried to find the label to get one for my self! And our host Graham went above and beyond. Couldn't recommend this place enough. A++++++++

La Rocher Eco Retreat is a beautiful place to stay. The villas are really lovely and the views of the mighty Wollumbin are amazing. There's lots of lovely walks to do on the property too. All in all I would highly recommend.

We had the most incredible stay here. The location and views are second to none. Perfect if you want some relaxing time in nature. The Rochers were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to come back!

We had the most amazing stay at La Rocher, it’s an absolute gem of a place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful nature. The villa was very well equipped, and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.

I had the most amazing stay at La Rocher for my birthday.
The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. It seemed every little detail had been thought of, and I can’t think of a single thing that was missing! The bed was one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in. The pool, hot tub and bath have the most incredible view.
Would highly recommend, and look forward to staying again!!

My partner and I celebrated his birthday by breaking in our new e-bikes, riding from Ocean Shores to the Tweed Gallery for lunch, and then onwards to La Rocher. A very doable 6kms off the Stokers stop on the Rail Trail (with e-bike! Good size hill to tackle)

Graham & Alysha organised wine and pasta for a cosy night in, as well as setting out some cute festive cupcakes, and booking a massage therapist to our room.

Early check in and late checkout was offered without request. And communication before and during the stay was supportive, but not intrusive.

Beds/linen super comfy. Well equipped with tea, coffee, bug spray, robes, utensils, etc

This hidden oasis in Uki is truly a haven for those seeking a peaceful escape in the heart of nature. It's not just a romantic getaway; it's also perfect for a best friend's trip away. My best friend and I had the perfect stay there. Nestled among the lush surroundings, the villa gave us a perfect blend of comfort and serenity. The attention to detail in the villa's amenities was impeccable, and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud!

What made our stay extra special was the stunning environment and the warm hospitality of the owners. We highly recommend the yoga session and massage provided by Alysha.

La Rocher offers a tranquil and rejuvenating escape. It truly exceeded our expectations!
