Beautiful little town. Good place to watch the whales go past, just drive up the headland, parking area at the top. Couple of picnic tables around, takeaway shop across the road.

Family friendly inlet near the beach that's ideal for little kiddies. Great beach areas, BBQs, playground, parking, easy beach access, and the General Store nearby has a cafe and other helpful supplies. This spot was a regular play spot during our holiday. If you're lucky you'll find crabs among the rocks, see the nesting pair of curlews, and find many a lovely sea shell to decorate your sand castle.

We love to bring the kids here for a dip. Lots of sand and still water. This is a very wide stretch of Cudgerra creek. Most of the water is waist high at most. Just be a bit careful of the main channel through the middle. It has quite fast flows through it as the tides go in and out. For older kids the flow makes for an entertaining ride. Just float with the flow and you can easily ride along for 500m or more!

Almost the perfect beach place for a family, the not enough BBQ cooking spot but ample of space for the kids to run around. Lots of rocks in the water yet crystal clear water. Perfect in summer time

Great place to stop for a break. Beautiful scenery and great area for a walk along the shoreline. Perfect area for kids to take a relatively safe swim.

This is one of the places that deserve to be on my favourite list on Google Maps. Small area but a very lovely beach the water is not shallow at all. If you are planning to have swimming experience but don't know how to swim? This is the place to be in. Highly recommend it for people who want to learn to swim, this place is like a natural swimming pool for a complete beginner.

A beautiful place. Every time we stay in northern nsw we always take the kids for a swim here. The kayaks are great value to hire and we have paddled up the creek a few times and explored the mangroves. It is alway clean and safe for the kids never gets to deep and sand bank is good for the kids to build sandcastles on. The beach at the inlet is very nice on calm days also.

Beautiful place to visit, with picnic benches scattered around and the use of bbq facilities.

Absolutely beautiful spot. So refreshing to go back to nature without all the high rises overlooking the beach. Go when the tide is coming in and you can drift over the rocks.

There are BBQ facilities, seating and undercover tables or just sit on the grass or on the sandy beach.
Kids playground and adequate parking.
Canoes are often available for hire here.
A wander up to the rock pools at the headland is a must.

Absolutely awesome place to hang out with friends and family. Water is super clear and calm. Excellent for younger kids. Bring something that floats and catch a ride in the current as the tide ebbs in and out.
