Great rest stop or peaceful lunch on your way to next town or city.

I must admit that although I was Impressed by the size and quantity of things here to see, nothing was really that impressive or made me want to revisit or come back. coffee was also average.

A few things were shut like the old Italian villages also which looked good. I also note for an Italian village and being of European decent myself, I struggled to find and Italian person working in any of the shops or areas etc which was interesting.

Still gave it 4 stars as it was an excellent place to stop facilities were well maintained and free.

If travelling in a motor home, it's a nice place to stop over.
The museum and stores were interesting to browse. I didn't eat at the cafe, but I checked their cabinet and menu. The food I saw looked delicious and affordable, the setting also very welcoming and relaxed

Stopped for the bathroom, and gotten an excellent history experience. This is a great place to stop and learn some history.

I loved this museum! A jump in the past for who has got an Italian background. Really recommend! There is also a lovely shop!
I had lasagna for lunch, small poece but worth the money spent! Go try it!

I didn't know this place existed as I haven't driven along the highway for a long time. I passed it but glad I turned back to have a look. I suggest people make this place a stop when traveling along the highway.

A great place to stop over for a night or two. Big parking space. Pick your spot. Toilets available and a place to wash Face/Dishes, hot water 👍

Great rest stop. Our family stayed here in our motorhome overnight. Yum food. Nice vibe and very pretty. Lovely trees. Toilets and dish wash station. Thumbs up.

Stopped in twice here for coffee, you would really appreciate this place and the hard work the immigrants put in from the time they arrived. A really historical place that's been beautifully looked after and great coffee to boot. A top place for a pitt stop as its on the highway.

A nice place to visit while in the area. A very interesting place.

Love this place. Great history, the courage and the early settlers was amazing as was the compassion and leadership shown by Sir Henry Parkes to get these migrants somewhere to live.

Really impressed - hadn’t stopped here before but will definitely return. We had really good burgers and the staff were very friendly. The museum is interesting and the grounds well kept. Well worth the stop.

Very nice area, clean toilets and good cafe. There are also tables with shelter as well. Kangaroos are also there!

As an Italian, I always stop by when I am in the neighbourhood. The museum and pavilion are informative and very relatable for me, food at the cafe is good as well

A very nice collection of photos, items that demonstrate the old life of Italian immigrants.!

A unique stop off on the highway, lots of interesting history to discover regarding the Italian settlers and a nice selection of coffee and snacks. Some beautiful planted gardens and cleared areas to stretch your legs. There are also a couple of gifts shops here with interesting items for sale. Definitely worth stopping by! Dogs can be walked on the grassy areas but not permitted around the cafe/museum area.

Awesome place to stop on a road trip that isn't a servo or just a rest area with a table and bin

I have been to New Italy several times and like the theme of their museum and shops. Good spot to rest for 30-45 minutes if heading to NSW or QLD.

Great stop. Coffee is great and staff friendly. Make sure to leave a small donation for all the volunteers that help keep the place running.
