Excellent service.
We used Prices Removals and Storage Hobart for our recent move. I could not recommend the team more highly. From the prompt quote, to the team who carefully packed our belongings and moved them from our old home to the new property. Every member of the Prices' team was friendly and extremely professional. When we ran into a possible issue with our move in date, Prices' did everything they could to accommodate our needs. There was excellent communication from start to finish. We have used Price Removals five times over the last 22yrs the first move was from Brisbane to Hobart back in 2001. Their service, delivery and support has always been excellent. Jack in Hobart is very professional and always delivers on requests such as extra packing boxes, tap and paper. We have had no damages, lost items, lack of communication or any other issues during our moves. The staff who do the move are hard working and very good at their job keeping in mind it is a tough gig.
So thank you to all the staff at Price in Hobart who have looked after and supported us with our moves.

The estimate and booking team at Price's Removals was very easy to deal with and have excellent communications. They are competitive in price and very professional. The removal team on the day were experienced, polite, efficient and fast.

We used Prices from Swan Point to Ambleside. Catherine from reception was superb as well as Jeff.
Nicko and team were magic and the boys kept us in stitches with thier sense of humour. Something that seems to be missing these days.

Just moved house with Prices and was really pleased with their professional and friendly attitude. At our new location we needed to crane a baby grand piano into a slightly tricky spot - Prices handled the crane hire and ensured the piano was safely delivered into the new home. Our experience was similar to Julie's review - Mitch and the crew who moved our belongings were helpful, friendly and courteous - basically made the whole moving experience a happy experience - 5 stars Prices for a job well done!

Had our stuff shipped down to Hobart from Brisbane via muval. Prices were responsible for getting our furniture and unloading it all at our new place in Hobart. They always answered our phonecalls and responded to us with the information and gave us updated information on when it will arrive to our place.

Our furniture and moving boxes all arrived safely without a scratch and were covered up individually with blankets for protection.

A big thanks to Jack and Aaron our two removalists who unloaded all of our belongings and brought them into our house. They were polite, respectful and friendly and made it a very easy experience. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking to move in the future. Thanks Prices!

AVOID!!! No option to give ZERO stars unfortunately!
Poor communication, they never return phone calls. Some of their employees are rude on the phone and so unprofessional.
I had my shipment from the UK and here was no communication even after I tried to call them several times. On the day of delivery they just turned up yet they said they would give me a time. MY car was damaged during the move yet they neglected to tell me. Instead they said my car was ready to be picked up when they clearly knew it was not drivable. I only was informed of the damage of my car by email from someone in the UK. Up to now I am still trying to get hold of someone so I can see for myself the extend of the damaged. I am unable to accurately complete claim forms when I haven't seen the car. Also there was no explanation of what happened. Worst company ever.

We moved in January from Canberra to Hobart. One of our items went missing. We called and emailed them so many times and for so many months. The first few times, they told us they'll look into it and get back to us. We didn't get any emails or calls. We kept contacting them but they have now stopped responding altogether. While the item was (thankfully) easily replaceable, it turned out to be quite a frustrating experience.

We moved to Hobart from the Mainland in January 2023.

When our furniture was finally delivered in February, an item was missing. They promised they would get back to us later that day once they found it.

One week later, we called and they said they would look into. No response.

Months go by - countless calls and emails and false promises they would look into it.

It's now been 10 months. Absolutely no ownership for losing the item, no compensation, nothing.

I get it, sometimes you lose something. But the way way they handled their customer service is terrible.

Do yourself a favour and don't use this service!

Some other reviewers have had the same experience.
I hope that they are not just doing it for show.

I felt like Prices had forgotten about us

My issue with Prices is not that they were a week later than expected, but the way they handled it. I felt like they forgotten about us.

We received Prices a confirmation email for our move to Hobart with a date that they were ‘working towards’.
The day before our expected date we noticed our airtag was still in Sydney. We called Prices and asked about our move. They said they would call back with an update. They did not.

The next day I called they every hour from 10-3pm before they answered me and informed that the delivery would be 1 week later than the previous communication.

The way that the State Manager handled my complaint was to tell me that they had met their contractual obligations to contact me the day before delivery was due and had done nothing was wrong. They suggested that my expectation of being kept up to date was not required in the contract and they didn’t need to do that. They did not seem to think that they should update us that our delivery would not meet the date they were working towards.

I felt like they didn’t value me or respect me as a customer.
I would consider going with another mover – if something goes wrong you don’t want Prices managing it.
