Wongai Beach Hotel

Good location. I had a sea view. Nice pool in pleasant tropical garden- a welcome contrast to the dryness of Horn Island.
No complaints about the food. Breakfasts provided but some variety is needed- maybe a boiled egg/museli/ porridge from time to time.
Helpful staff. Airport Transfer for a modest fee.

Had 10 days there a fortnight ago. Didn't disappoint. Great staff, room, food, bar, location, quiet & soothing property at a reasonable price. I was very happy. Great place for a tropical island break.

Room with a view, nice and tidy with a huge bed. Very friendly service and a reasonably priced menu! I ordered my meal and took back to my room. Crisp fresh salad, fries and chicken schnitzel. Really nice.

Had a really tasty meal and a couple of cold drinks. TAB in the bar area with pool table and bench seating. A good outdoor area with plenty of shaded seating and views over to TI. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🤩.

The rooms are all completely separate. Outs had a microwave and sink. Aircon and fan. Nice little verandah. Pool and spa were both warm and great to cool off in. All the meals we had at the restaurant were delicious. You need a key to get in and out at night. Also not.to far to walk to the ferry or supermarket. They offer a pickup and drop off from the airport. It's not the newest place in town but it has a pool. Staff were all.so friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel with a great lazy pool. The accommodation is comfortable and clean, air-conditioned and with a TV. Shower worked quite well. They even give you food and drinks in the fridge, bread to cook for breakfast or cereal if you prefer. The meals were well cooked and reasonably priced.

It was a very nice stay there for 5 days from 21st Feb to 25th Feb 2022. Special thanks to the restaurant staff Manu. Very nice bloke with great customer service skills and ready to go out of the way to genuinely help the guests.

The Wongai Beach Hotel is a nice place to visit. Service is great, food is tasty, and gardens, and surrounds look fantastic.

I had good memories there in 2006 and 2007. How time flies. Looks like they had made a lot of improvements. Will go back to visit one day.

Adequate clean accomodation. Pub meals were nice. Good overall option
