Banrock Station Wine and Wetland Centre

Popped in on our our way west. We'd booked the non-alcoholic degustation plate. This is a new thing they are doing which pairs 3 food tasters paired with their 3 non-alcoholic wines. (Sparkling, Chardonnay and Shiraz) The food tasted great and the wines surprisingly good. We bought a bottle of the sparkling to take home.
There's a nice atmosphere to the place with children catered for without being too kid focused. I got the impression they prefer bookings but we're able to cope with walk ins.

The wetlands below have kilometres of walks which you can do. There's a sign suggesting a gold coin donation for them.
And there's a turtle in the entrance area which is fun to watch.

If we're passing through we would consider stopping again.

Open for breakfast and lunch with awesome views and a walking trail. Staff are very welcoming and there is a nice selection of wines for tasting and purchase. A must visit on your way through. Don't be put off by the long dusty driveway, it's worth the trip.

My mom came to Riverland to Travel with me. She was a first-time visit to Winery in Australia. At reasonable prices, you can eat the main dish like a course from an appetizer. I'm glad that I could sample all kinds of wines by adding reasonable prices. My mother especially liked this wine tasting and 2 kinds of salad.

When they are busy, be a little patient and you will be rewarded. Great food. Great coffee. An abundance of great wines to taste and purchase. Great staff. Keep up the good work. We had coffee & cake, a light (yet delicious) lunch, and a tasting flight. Leaving very satisfied.

We thought choosing the Banrock Best of the Riverland would be a great way to sample the range of menu items on offer. We weren't disappointed! We were impressed by the bar staff member who was extremely helpful, but more was to come. When the kitchen staff member brought our meals out, she took time to explain each course without us asking.
The bar staff member was prepared to change the wine pairing option to suit our desire to have zero alcohol wines and explained each of them in detail.
The reports we had heard and read about the centre were validated by our experience, and definitely due to the genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of the staff on the day.

Had such a gorgeous time on an even more beautiful day. My husband surprised me with a picnic lunch. AMAZING service and food. Highly recommend.

Was simply fantastic

We did the best of the riverland menu which was $40 per head. It was such a lovely meal, we really enjoyed it, and highly recommend it. We sat out on the deck and it was really relaxing. The kids meals were basic, but a nice size and enjoyed by our kids. The kids tasting paddle was a highlight and thoroughly enjoyed! The wines were actually really nice. I bought some rose to take home and really enjoy ed it!

Have been to Banrock Station before but today we arrived at 9am for breakfast. We didn't know until recently that they did breakfasts. It was worth every mouthful, it was delicious and will recommend anyone to visit.

We had lunch and afternoon tea here today.
My group had a wine tasting experience also.
The food was amazing.
Huge servings with left overs.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The view was excellent.
It's a quiet and relaxing place to enjoy great wine.
Come for a drive, you won't regret it.

Beautiful locale, fantastic view, great service, food was awesome, coffee reasonable (room for improvement but still enjoyable), and dessert menu looked delectable (though we didn’t have room for dessert this time!), and love their commitment to sustainable management of the environment.

Stopped in for lunch. Quite busy on a Wednesday. Choice of indoor or outdoor dining on the deck overlooking the wetlands.
Chose a selection from the antipasto menu. Tasty selection of olives, squid,octopus, vegetarian meatballs and a great salad. Friendly staff great food in a lovely setting.
Highly recommend stopping if you are in the area.

A definite must visit if you’re in the area. The wetlands walk was lovely and peaceful. Our lunch was amazing - the food was delicious. The affogato was insane - I’ve never seen one served this way! The staff were all lovely, friendly and welcoming - regularly checking in on us to ensure all was ok.

Some nice wines, some great wines, excellent food, all overlooking stunning views and being served by friendly staff. This has been our second visit, traveling approx 3-4 hours from Adelaide and staying at Lake Bonny. Will visit again and highly recommend to others

One of the few must visit restaurants in the Riverland which is fairly close to Barmera. Great service and great food. There is opportunity for post lunch activities with bushwalk trails along the adjacent wetlands.

Excellent spot. We went for wine tasting and lunch. Wine experience was excellent, you get to select the wines you prefer from a list, very nice selection. Lunch was fantastic, so tasty. Customer service was friendly and helpful. Excellent day out.

We've always enjoyed Banrock Stations wines, particularly the Shiraz and Rose'. Driving to Renmark from Burra we passed the winery, however could pass the opportunity to visit. We made a booking for lunch the following day and we weren't disappointed. The setting: "where the mallee meets the valley" is unique. Your staff were all first class, knowledgeable with great customer service. We really enjoyed the food and wine tasting, taking home a sample of our favorites - Rose' and Shiraz of course.
Worth a visit, stay for lunch you won't be disappointed.

Just a devine place to spend some time and enjoy a meal. Food quality is best we’ve had in the area. The flavour & texture combinations in the salads really make the dishes. The wines they make are quite pleasant too.The staff were excellent and attentive, moving us to a better table when one became free. Must visit.
