Bao Bao Chinese & Malaysian Restaurant

Dined in, we are a family just staying one night in the town. Restaurant is very pretty. Large menu with many options. I asked a few questions about different dishes and the waitress was able to answer them all. Food delivered very quickly and portion sizes very big. We had to take a lot with us (always a good thing, means another meal the next night!). Thought the food was very yummy and could not believe the value. Paid the bill, got to the car and went back to check they hadn't undercharged us. Asked them to add up the bill again, but it was correct. Highly recommend. Staff very friendly. Heard other customers say they were back for dinner for a second night in a row, and I can see why.

Best Chinese ever!! We got the Chicken Sate Sauce, Chicken Pecking, Beef Satay Skewers and curry puffs. They were all incredible!! Curry puff melt in your mouth, skewers we’re tender and sauce was perfect. They use the extra large containers, so much bang for your buck and the flavours were amazing. Highly recommend!!

Love finding a good country town Chinese restaurant. With no real meal options where I was staying in nearby Boggabilla, this place was perfect for a Sunday night takeout back to my humble motel room. Good service and good food. Recommended.

What an excellent find this place was in Goondiwindi! We had the dinner special which was a choice from 6 different main options that came with rice. Really big meals for a great price. Excellent service and lovely fresh food. If you are after a good priced meal with excellent food, you can’t go wrong here!

Great Quality, Flavour and Value Lunch

The food was delicious! Especially the roti canai, which is my favourite Malaysian meal. We live in Brisbane but are already planning a road trip to Gundy to eat here again.

This is excellent quality Chinese food! I usually find Chinese food greasy but I walked away feeling full and great, even ate the leftovers for breakfast as we continued our journey. Lots of healthy vegetables in the dishes and the sizzling dish was delicious.

Great food, fantastic price and really large helpings

Every time we come we are greeted by friendly staff who also spend an extra few minutes to talk. The food is outstanding with great choices and wonderful flavours! Please visit you won't be disappointed. There is plenty of room for groups.

Pulled in late and took a chance but was pleasantly surprised at the deliciousness that ensued. The servings were big, the food was fresh and very affordable and the staff (wait staff to the owner) were all so friendly.

Fabulous place for the lunch specials, very tasty. 2 meals and 3 drinks for under $35. We'll be back.
