Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort

Fantastic day out and well worth the drive from Melbourne. Very easy access to parking and toboggan area for the kids :-). Cross country skiing and downhill are available. There are two main eating shops and bbq and warm eating area.

The day we went there was not much snow around but there was still enough for toboggans, skiing and snowboarding.
It is a beautiful place that has many carparks and helpful staff. Very popular resort as its not too far from Melbourne.

So much snow this weekend thanks to a huge fall on Friday. No crowds and lots of fun for kids and adults. No lifts running or ski hire on the mountain. But there’s still hot food and drinks at the village.

The best snow resort I've been. More activities, bigger and wide area, well organised, thick snow, even parking is very smooth and people are very nice and friendly.
Suggest book everything in advance and online. Weekend there's a live band during the day. Be careful in the road always.

Too pretty, easy hike and wonderful weather

Fantastic experience loved it, if timed right it's a great place for the family to spend hours doing activities or a casual stole around.

Seems be better this year, probably because of the heavy snow. Does get packed. Food options are simple and gets packed during peak hour, kinda pricey and fairly average but to be expected. Get in early to avoid 2wd cars with chains. No issues climbing up the hill with the 80 series. Worth a visit.

Great day out with the family. 1st time taking our 7 year old son. Loved Tobogganing! Food a bit expensive tho and our coffee wasnt piping hot but a great day anyway. Park at carpark 1 which is the closest to the resort if you can!

I love this place - an excellent get away.. Gets busy and exciting.. And offers lovely outdoor experiences - recent trip was with limited snow but this offered excellent bushwalks on tracks that I as child wld ski by cross country skiing

One or 2 runs were avtive while I was there and downhill skiiers and snowbowrders were enjoying it, also the tobogoning run was getting regular use - lots of fun

When you're out in snow use common sense, good planning and look after yourself and others in your group.

The accommodation we stayed at was superb

Great day trip, just over an hours drive from Traralgon. Car "parking" was 57$ but that was pretty much an entrance fee, they have chain hire + fitting for 30$ which I wish i knew before I rented my own. Food was decent, all meals were around 15$ with chips, rental gear was around 60$ for the day but goes half price from 1pm. Definitely more for beginners/ family but a great little day trip for my friend who had never seen the snow.

Great experience with the family. Easy to access, helpful people, great views, awesome service, restful experience and the best of all - lots of snow to play and enjoy! A must visit for all!

I lv ridding the bike up here motorcycle that is. There's a nice restaurant to have a coffee ☕ or a nice meal the views are good but they need to trim back the trees at the restaurant they spiol the view. It takes around 2 hours from eastern suburbs to get up there but it's thick bush fantastic views from Noojee on wards and don't forget to check out the Toorongo Falls just out of Noojee

An amazing place. Suitable for families as well as semi professional skiers. Excellent trekking routes.

Wonderful place if you love snow you should visit this resort. But must carry water proof shoes and some warm jackets

Very nice experience coming here. The people are lovely and helpful . Perfect for beginners.
